# systemprompt CLI Usage

Complete operational reference for the `systemprompt` CLI. Syntax: `systemprompt <domain> <command> [subcommand] [options]`

## Execution Methods

**Direct CLI** (local machine):

systemprompt <domain> <command> [options]
```

**Via systemprompt MCP server** (remote execution):
The systemprompt admin MCP server exposes CLI commands as tools. When operating remotely, execute commands through the MCP server's CLI tool rather than direct bash. The MCP server handles authentication, profile routing, and session context automatically.

## Global Options

## Session and Profile Management

Profiles define connection targets (local or cloud). Sessions authenticate CLI access to a profile.
