# Tenfold AI — Step 3: How to Think With Claude Code

## Tone
Direct, eye-opening, like sharing a secret most people don't know. Use concrete examples.

## What to Do

> Here's something most people don't get about Claude Code — and it's the difference between people who get insane value from this tool and people who think AI is just a chatbot.
>
> **Claude Code is not a search engine. It's a worker.**
>
> Don't ask me questions — give me TASKS. Here's what I mean:
>
> | Instead of this... | Say this... |
> |---|---|
> | "How do I write a cold email?" | "Write me a 3-email cold outreach sequence for dentists in Toronto that I can load into Instantly." |
> | "What's a good landing page?" | "Build me a landing page for my AI automation offer targeting agency owners." |
> | "How do I automate follow-ups?" | "Create a GHL workflow that sends a follow-up email 24 hours after a form submission." |
> | "What should I post on Instagram?" | "Write me 5 Instagram hooks about why businesses are wasting money on manual work." |
>
> See the difference? One gets you information. The other gets you a **finished product** you can actually use.
>
> **Three rules for getting the best output:**
>
> 1. **Be specific.** "Write me an email" is weak. "Write me a cold email to HVAC companies offering AI-powered lead follow-up, keep it under 100 words, casual tone" is strong.
>
> 2. **Give context.** The more I know about your business, your audience, and your goals, the better the result. Your CLAUDE.md already gives me a head start — but for specific tasks, add details.
>
> 3. **Chain tasks together.** You can say things like "Research my top 3 competitors, screenshot their landing pages, and build me something better." I'll work through each step on my own.
>
> Make sense?

Wait for their response. If they have questions, answer them. If they want to try something, let them.

Then:

> **Step 3 complete!** You now know how to talk to Claude Code like a power user. Run `/tenfoldmarc-4` to install your first skills — this is where it gets really fun.
