# Lifecycle Nurture

> Lifecycle and nurture campaign skill for Teqfocus. Use this skill whenever the user wants to create nurture sequences, re-engagement campaigns, or stage-mapped content for prospects who are not yet ready to buy. Trigger when the user mentions: nurture sequence, lifecycle campaign, re-engagement, gone cold, warming up a prospect, awareness campaign, consideration stage, decision stage content, drip campaign, dormant leads, pipeline reactivation, or "they're not ready yet." This skill covers the full buyer journey from first awareness through to decision-stage conversion — for both new prospects and dormant contacts.

# Teqfocus Lifecycle & Nurture Skill

This skill governs all lifecycle and nurture campaign design for Teqfocus. Nurture
is the long game — building trust with buyers who are aware of Teqfocus but not
yet ready to engage. Every nurture email must give the reader something valuable
regardless of whether they ever buy. If it only works as a sales pitch, it's not
nurture — it's outbound.

## How to Use This Skill

1. **Read this SKILL.md fully** before producing any nurture asset
2. **Identify the funnel stage and persona** — these are the two most important variables
3. **Load the relevant reference file** for the sequence type
4. **Deliver complete sequences** — all emails written, all LinkedIn posts written

## Reference Files

| Sequence Type | Reference File |

| Awareness Stage Nurture | `references/awareness-nurture.md` |
| Consideration Stage Nurture | `references/consideration-nurture.md` |
| Decision Stage Nurture | `references/decision-nurture.md` |

## Section 1: The Nurture Philosophy

**The test for every nurture email:** Would a CIO, CDO, or VP Sales find this
useful even if they never buy from Teqfocus? If yes — it's nurture. If no — it's
outbound and belongs in the demand-gen skill.

**What makes nurture work for Teqfocus:**
- Industry specificity: a CDO in Healthcare and a CDO in Telecom need different content
- Timing awareness: the right insight at the wrong moment gets deleted
- Persona consistency: a 5-email nurture sequence should have a coherent narrative arc
- Patience: conversion is a by-product of trust, not the explicit goal of each email

**What kills nurture programs:**
- Sending the same content to all personas and industries
- Pitching before trust is established
- Sending too frequently (minimum 5 days between touches)
- Sequences that lose their narrative thread between emails

## Section 2: Funnel Stage Map

| Stage | Buyer Mindset | Teqfocus Goal | Content Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| **Awareness** | "I have a problem but I'm not sure what to do about it" | Build recognition and credibility | Industry insight, frameworks, research |
| **Consideration** | "I'm evaluating options for solving this problem" | Establish Teqfocus as the right approach | Case studies, POV content, comparison frameworks |
| **Decision** | "I'm choosing between partners" | Reduce risk, provide proof, propose a first step | Proof of work, differentiation, low-risk engagement offer |
| **Re-engagement** | "I talked to them before but went quiet" | Restart the conversation with new value | New insight, new proof point, changed angle |

## Section 3: Sequence Structures

### Awareness Stage — Industry Insight Series (4 emails, 3 weeks)

```
PURPOSE: Build credibility with a persona who has never engaged with Teqfocus
Email 1 — The Observation (Day 1)
  Sender: Marketing / AE
  Subject: Industry-specific problem observation (no Teqfocus mention)
  Body: One sharp industry observation specific to their role
        What's causing it · Why it persists
        No pitch. No Teqfocus. Just a useful perspective.
  CTA: A question — "Does this match what you're seeing?"
Email 2 — The Framework (Day 6)
  Sender: Same
  Subject: How to think about the problem
  Body: A mental model or framework for approaching the problem they have
        One Teqfocus perspective woven in naturally
        Reference a relevant resource (blog, podcast episode)
  CTA: Link to the resource
Email 3 — The Proof (Day 12)
  Sender: Same
  Subject: Outcome-led — what was achieved in their industry
  Body: Brief case study reference: [Industry] company → problem → outcome
        First time Teqfocus is named directly — surfaced as Summit Partner naturally
  CTA: "Worth exploring if this applies to [their company/industry]?"
Email 4 — The Invitation (Day 19)
  Sender: AE or named senior person
  Subject: A specific next step that has value in itself
  Body: Invite to a resource, event, or conversation
        Frame the value for them — not for Teqfocus
  CTA: Event RSVP / content download / "30-minute [session type]"
```

### Consideration Stage — Solution Education Series (3 emails, 2 weeks)

```
PURPOSE: Move a prospect from "I know Teqfocus" to "I see how they'd solve my problem"
Email 1 — The Failure Mode (Day 1)
  Sender: AE
  Subject: Name the specific failure mode they're experiencing
  Body: "Most [persona] in [industry] who've tried [approach] hit the same wall: [specific failure]"
        Why the common approach fails
        How Teqfocus thinks about it differently
  CTA: Link to a case study or POV piece
Email 2 — The Architecture (Day 6)
  Sender: AE
  Subject: What the solution actually looks like
  Body: A specific approach — not a services list
        What Teqfocus would actually build for a company like theirs
        Named customer reference: "When we did this for [customer name] in [industry]..."
  CTA: "Curious if this approach resonates — worth 30 minutes?"
Email 3 — The Roadmap (Day 12)
  Sender: AE
  Subject: What "good" looks like in 90 days
  Body: A concrete, specific picture of the outcome in 3 months
        Named metrics from a relevant case study [VERIFY]
        A specific, low-risk engagement offer as the next step
  CTA: "Book a [session type] — here's what we'd cover: [3 bullets]"
```

### Decision Stage — Proof + Differentiation Series (3 emails, 10 days)

```
PURPOSE: Help a late-stage prospect choose Teqfocus over alternatives
Email 1 — The Differentiation Frame (Day 1)
  Sender: AE or Exec
  Subject: Why most [their likely alternative] leaves a gap
  Body: Without naming competitors — explain what Teqfocus does that others don't
        Full-stack: data + AI + application in one partner
        Summit credential as risk-reducer, not badge
  CTA: "Happy to walk through how we're different from what you may be evaluating"
Email 2 — The Named Proof (Day 5)
  Sender: AE
  Subject: Outcome-specific — matches their situation
  Body: Named customer in their industry
        Challenge → what Teqfocus built → specific verified outcome
        "We can share the team directly for a reference call if useful"
  CTA: Reference call offer OR architecture review
Email 3 — The First Step (Day 10)
  Sender: AE or Exec
  Subject: A specific, low-risk first engagement
  Body: A defined first step that creates value before any contract
        E.g. "A 2-day data readiness assessment" or "A focused Salesforce audit"
        Frame it as: "We find this replaces a 4-week RFP process for most clients"
  CTA: "Can we set up 30 minutes to scope what this would look like for you?"
```

### Re-Engagement — Gone Cold Series (2 emails + 1 LinkedIn, 2 weeks)

```
PURPOSE: Restart a conversation with a contact who engaged but went quiet
Email 1 — New Angle (Day 1)
  Sender: Original owner or AE
  Subject: Completely different from the original outreach angle
  Body: New insight, new proof point, or something that's changed since last touch
        "A few things have shifted since we last spoke — one in particular relevant to [industry]"
        Make it feel timely, not like a check-in
  CTA: Light — "Worth a quick reconnect?"
LinkedIn DM (Day 4, if connected)
  1 sentence + a link to something genuinely relevant to them
  Not a follow-up — a new piece of value
  "Thought of you when I saw this — [link]"
Email 2 — The Break-Up (Day 10)
  Sender: Same
  Subject: "Last one from me (for now)"
  Body: 3 sentences. Honest close.
        Share one last resource.
        "If the timing ever shifts, you know where to find us."
  CTA: Resource link or calendar link — give them the choice
```

## Section 4: LinkedIn Nurture Series (Organic — company page)

A 4-week rolling LinkedIn nurture track mapped to the funnel.
Run this continuously — not as a one-off campaign.

```
Week 1: AWARENESS — Industry pain post
  Format: Observation or contrarian take
  Topic: Specific to one vertical per week (rotate through Healthcare, Telecom,
         FinServ, Retail, Hi-Tech across the month)
  No Teqfocus pitch — pure insight value
Week 2: CONSIDERATION — Framework or approach post
  Format: "How to think about [problem]" or "What [outcome] actually requires"
  Connects to Teqfocus POV naturally
  Reference a TeqTalk episode or case study if available
Week 3: PROOF — Named customer or outcome post
  Format: Challenge → what was built → verified outcome
  Name the customer and industry
  "Here's what made it work at [Customer Name]"
Week 4: CONVERSION — Event / resource / meeting invite post
  Format: Low-friction CTA to something valuable
  Event RSVP / content download / webinar registration
  Frame as: "We're doing this because [specific value for the reader]"
```

---

## Section 5: Nurture by Persona

Adjust the content angle and proof examples by persona:

| Persona | Email 1 Hook | Proof to Use | Meeting Ask |
|---|---|---|---|
| CIO / CTO | Architecture risk or failed transformation observation | Multi-cloud implementation, Summit credential | Architecture alignment session |
| CDO / Data Leader | AI stalling at the data layer / failed POC | Data + AI deployment with adoption metrics | Data readiness review |
| RevOps / VP Sales | CRM adoption failure or forecast accuracy gap | Salesforce optimization — adoption rate + pipeline | CRM health check |
| CMO / Marketing | Campaign personalization at scale without headcount | Content/demand gen transformation | GTM strategy session |

---

## Section 7: Sequence Structure by Goal Type

### Welcome/Onboarding Sequence (new subscriber or download)
**Goal:** Establish credibility and warm to next action
**Length:** 3–4 emails over 7–10 days
**Structure:**
1. Immediate: Deliver the promised asset + one surprising insight
2. Day 2: The problem deeper — validate their pain with specificity
3. Day 5: Teqfocus's perspective — how we think about this differently
4. Day 10: Social proof — case study from same industry, specific outcome + CTA

### Consideration Nurture (MQL, not ready to buy)
**Goal:** Educate toward decision-readiness
**Length:** 5–6 emails over 3–4 weeks
**Structure:**
1. Week 1: Most common misconception in their space (educational)
2. Week 1: Framework or approach — how Teqfocus structures this problem
3. Week 2: Case study — Challenge/Solution/Outcome from their industry
4. Week 2: Competitive context — why Teqfocus vs alternatives (without naming names)
5. Week 3: Objection handling — the real concern most teams have
6. Week 3: CTA — specific, low-friction ask (assessment, not demo)

### Re-engagement (cold or dormant)
**Goal:** Surface active interest or clean the list
**Length:** 3 emails over 2 weeks, then suppress
**Structure:**
1. Week 1: "Has anything changed?" — reference their original download/interest
2. Week 2: New insight or resource on same topic
3. Week 2: Explicit break-up email — "I'll stop if this isn't relevant"

---

## Section 8: Behavioral Trigger Patterns

Trigger emails based on actions, not just time:

| Behavior | Trigger | Email angle |
|---|---|---|
| Downloaded assessment | Within 1 hour | Results preview + "want to discuss?" |
| Visited /agentforce page 2+ times | Same day | "Noticed you're researching Agentforce..." |
| Opened 3+ emails but never clicked | After 3rd open | "Here's the specific thing most readers want next..." |
| Attended webinar but no follow-up | Day after | Reference the specific session they attended |
| LinkedIn engagement (liked/commented) | Within 24 hours | Personal LinkedIn DM from AE |

---

## Section 9: Segmentation by Engagement Signal

Before sending any sequence, segment by engagement to personalize:

**Hot (3+ signals in 14 days):** Personal AE outreach — bypass sequence
**Warm (1–2 signals in 30 days):** Decision-stage sequence — specific CTA
**Cold (no signal in 60 days):** Re-engagement sequence or suppress
**Unknown (new contact):** Welcome/onboarding sequence first
