# Linkedin Campaigns

> LinkedIn campaign skill for Teqfocus. Use this skill whenever the user wants to create any LinkedIn content or outreach — organic posts, carousels, articles, direct messages, connection requests, InMail, event posts, or a coordinated LinkedIn campaign sequence. Trigger when the user mentions: LinkedIn post, LinkedIn message, LinkedIn campaign, connection request, InMail, DM sequence, company page post, personal profile post, LinkedIn carousel, LinkedIn article, or any LinkedIn-native outreach or content. This skill covers both the company page (Teqfocus brand voice) and personal profiles (Avi and team members). Always use this skill for LinkedIn assets — do not use demand-gen or content-strategist alone for LinkedIn-native work.

# Teqfocus LinkedIn Campaigns Skill

This skill governs all LinkedIn activity for Teqfocus — organic content on the
company page, personal profile posts for team members, and direct outreach
sequences (DMs, connection requests, InMail). LinkedIn is Teqfocus's primary
social channel for reaching CIOs, CDOs, RevOps leaders, and VP Sales at
enterprise and mid-market companies.

## How to Use This Skill

1. **Read this SKILL.md fully** before producing any LinkedIn asset
2. **Identify the format** from the reference table below
3. **Confirm sender** — company page vs. personal profile (tone differs significantly)
4. **Load the reference file** for the specific format
5. **Deliver complete, ready-to-post/send copy** — no placeholders unless data unavailable

## Section 1: LinkedIn Channel Strategy

### Company Page — Teqfocus Brand Voice
- **Purpose:** Build awareness and authority with the target buyer audience
- **Tone:** Senior practitioner — specific, outcome-connected, no marketing speak
- **Frequency:** 3–4 posts per week minimum
- **Content mix:** 40% industry insight, 30% proof/case study, 20% TeqTalk/content,
  10% team/culture

### Personal Profiles — Team Members
- **Purpose:** Build individual credibility and relationship-led pipeline
- **Tone:** First-person practitioner — opinions, experiences, observations
  (NOT "our company does X" — personal voice only)
- **Who posts:** Avi (GTM leader — thought leadership + relationships),
  AEs (account-specific industry posts), Practice leads (technical depth)
- **Frequency:** 2–3 posts per week per active profile

### Direct Outreach — DM + Connection
- **Purpose:** Start 1:1 conversations with target contacts
- **Tone:** Peer-to-peer, considered, never templated-sounding
- **Volume by sender:** SDR (high volume, light personalization),
  AE (medium volume, account-specific), Exec (low volume, highly personal)

---

## Section 2: The LinkedIn Voice Rules

### Company Page — Always
- Open with an industry observation, question, or counterintuitive claim
- Never start with "Teqfocus," "We," "Our," or "Excited to share"
- One clear idea per post — not a summary of five things
- Every post earns a specific CTA: link, tag, question, or reply prompt
- Connect every platform mention to an outcome — never a platform list

### Personal Profile — Always
- Write in first person — genuine, specific, experience-based
- Share something you actually observed, decided, or learned — not a trend summary
- Disagree with consensus when you have a real reason to
- Never write "Proud to share" or "Excited to announce" as openers
- End with a question that invites a real response — not "What do you think?"

### Both — Never
- "Leverage," "synergy," "holistic," "best-in-class," "cutting-edge," "robust"
- Platform-stacking without context ("Salesforce + Snowflake + Databricks + AWS")
- Announcing Summit Partnership as news
- Invented statistics — flag with [VERIFY]
- Emojis as openers or structural devices
- Hashtag spam — maximum 3 relevant hashtags, at the end

---

## Section 3: Post Formats That Work for Teqfocus

### The Contrarian Take
```
Hook: "[Common belief in the industry] is wrong — and it's costing [persona] deals."
Body: Name the belief → why it's wrong → what's actually true → Teqfocus POV
CTA:  Question or resource link
```

### The Observation From the Field
```
Hook: "A [title] told us last week: '[specific, real-sounding observation].'"
Body: What that means → why it matters → what Teqfocus sees across clients
CTA:  "We're seeing this everywhere. What's your experience?"
```

### The Framework Post
```
Hook: "[Number] reasons [common problem] keeps happening in [industry]."
Body: Each reason as a one-liner with 1–2 lines of expansion
CTA:  Link to deeper resource or TeqTalk episode
```

### The Proof Post
```
Hook: "[Outcome achieved] — here's what made it possible."
Body: Context → what was built → the outcome (named customer, verified metrics)
CTA:  "Full case study → [link]" or "Curious if you're seeing similar challenges"
```

### The TeqTalk Episode Post
```
Hook: Sharpest insight from the guest — counterintuitive or specific
Body: 3–4 lines expanding on the insight with your POV
Attribution: "— [Guest Name], [Title], TeqTalk Ep [#]"
CTA:  Episode link
```

### The LinkedIn-Only Announcement (Events / Webinars)
```
Hook: The theme or question the event is built around — not "Join us for..."
Body: What the conversation will cover + why it matters to this audience
Social proof: Who else is in the room (speakers, attendees if public)
CTA:  RSVP / registration link
```

---

## Section 4: DM / Connection Request Rules

### Connection Request (300 char max)
- Reference something specific about them or their company
- Never: "I'd love to connect and share how Teqfocus can help you"
- Never: Generic "I noticed we're in the same industry"
- Do: Reference a specific post they made, a shared connection, a company signal,
  or the event/content that brought them into scope

**Templates by context:**
```
Post-event:
"[First name] — good to [meet/see your talk] at [Event].
Your point about [specific thing they said] stayed with me.
Would like to stay connected."
Cold outreach:
"[First name] — your post on [topic] was one of the sharper takes I've
seen on [problem]. Building similar frameworks at Teqfocus. Worth connecting."
Partner/ecosystem:
"[First name] — I lead GTM at Teqfocus, a Salesforce Summit Partner.
We're working with [type of company] teams on [relevant problem].
Think there's a useful conversation here."
```

### First DM After Connect (send 2–3 days after acceptance)
- Open with a genuine observation — not "Thanks for connecting"
- Share one piece of value: microsite link, case study, article, event invite
- End with a low-friction question — not a meeting ask yet
- Max 3 sentences

### Follow-Up DM (5–7 days if no reply)
- Different angle from Message 1
- 1–2 sentences only
- Close with a light meeting offer: "Worth 20 minutes?"

---

## Section 5: LinkedIn Campaign Pack Structure

When a full LinkedIn campaign is requested (ABM, Outbound, or Event), deliver:

```
LINKEDIN CAMPAIGN PACK — [Company/Segment/Event]
1. COMPANY PAGE POSTS (for the same period as the campaign)
   Post 1: Industry insight aligned to the campaign theme
   Post 2: Proof/case study post (matched to target industry)
   Post 3: TeqTalk or resource post
   Post 4: Event/CTA post (if applicable)
2. PERSONAL PROFILE POSTS (for the AE or GTM leader running the campaign)
   Post 1: First-person observation on the problem this campaign targets
   Post 2: Behind-the-scenes or "what we're seeing" post
3. DIRECT OUTREACH SEQUENCE (for named contacts)
   Connection request: [written]
   Message 1 (post-connect): [written]
   Message 2 (follow-up): [written]
4. ENGAGEMENT STRATEGY
   Which posts to engage with in the target audience
   Which hashtags to monitor
   Which accounts to follow/engage for warm-up
```

---

## Section 6: Character Limits Reference

| Format | Limit | Practical target |
|---|---|---|
| Connection request | 300 chars | 200–250 chars |
| DM / InMail | 1,900 chars | 300–600 chars |
| Post (feed) | 3,000 chars | 800–1,300 chars |
| Article title | 100 chars | 60–80 chars |
| Article body | No limit | 600–900 words |
| Event description | 5,000 chars | 200–400 chars |

---

## Section 7: Hashtag Strategy

Use a maximum of 3 hashtags per post. Choose from this list based on content:

**Industry:** `#HealthcareAI` `#DigitalHealth` `#Telecom` `#FinTech`
`#RetailTech` `#SaaS`

**Function:** `#DataAnalytics` `#ArtificialIntelligence` `#MachineLearning`
`#Salesforce` `#Agentforce` `#Snowflake` `#DataEngineering` `#CRM`

**Audience:** `#CIO` `#CDO` `#RevOps` `#DataLeadership` `#EnterpriseAI`

**Brand:** `#Teqfocus` `#TeqTalk`

Never use: `#Innovation` `#Digital` `#Tech` `#Business` `#Transformation`
(too broad, wrong audience, no algorithmic value)

---

## Section 7: Hook Patterns That Work in B2B LinkedIn

The first 2–3 lines determine if someone clicks "see more." These patterns work:

**Contrarian opener:**
"Most Salesforce implementations are set up to fail before a line of code is written."

**Specific number:**
"73% of healthcare AI projects never reach production. Here's why." [VERIFY]

**Direct question:**
"When did your Salesforce stop being a system of record and become a system of hope?"

**Counterintuitive truth:**
"Your Agentforce project doesn't have an AI problem. It has a data problem."

**Pattern interrupt:**
"Nobody talks about this in enterprise AI. [pause] The data layer."

**What NOT to open with:**
- "I'm excited to share..." → instant scroll-past
- "We're proud to announce..." → corporate, not human
- "Teqfocus is..." → no one cares about you yet
- A paragraph of context before the hook → lose them at line 3

---

## Section 8: LinkedIn Algorithm Optimization

What drives reach on LinkedIn in 2025–2026:

**Positive signals (algorithm rewards):**
- Comments in first 60 minutes — respond to every comment fast
- Saves (more weight than likes)
- Shares with commentary (more weight than empty shares)
- Dwell time — long posts that keep readers scrolling
- Engagement from outside your network (signals quality)

**Negative signals (algorithm punishes):**
- Links in the body of a post — reduces reach 40–60%
- Too many hashtags (3 max, relevant to Teqfocus's space)
- Posting at low-engagement times (avoid weekends, late evening)

**Practical rules:**
- Put links in first comment, never in the post body
- Post natively — don't cross-post from Twitter or other platforms
- Respond to every comment within 2 hours of posting
- Use 3 hashtags max: e.g., #Salesforce #DataCloud #HealthcareAI

**Best posting times for B2B (Bay Area / US):**
Tuesday–Thursday: 7–9am PT or 12–1pm PT

---

## Section 9: Engagement Comment Strategy

Commenting on others' posts builds reach for Teqfocus's own content:

**Who to comment on:**
- Salesforce product announcements and updates
- CDOs and CIOs sharing problems Teqfocus solves
- Healthcare, FinServ, Hi-Tech executive posts
- Salesforce AEs and partner managers' posts (builds co-sell relationships)

**Comment quality rules:**
- Add a perspective, data point, or experience — not "great post!"
- 2–3 sentences minimum — short comments don't build authority
- Disagree respectfully when you have a genuine different view — these get more engagement
- Tag relevant people when your comment would benefit them

**Template for high-value comment:**
"[One-sentence acknowledgment of their point] — in our work with [healthcare/FinServ/hi-tech] organizations, we've seen [specific additional insight or nuance]. [Optional: one question that invites continued conversation]"

---

## Section 10: 2026 LinkedIn Algorithm — What Changed and What It Means for Teqfocus

### The Depth Score (replaces simple engagement)
LinkedIn's 2026 algorithm scores content on:
- **Dwell time** — how long someone pauses on the post (most weighted signal)
- **Comment depth** — replies to comments, not just first-level comments
- **Saves** — more weight than likes
- **Private shares** (DMs) — strongest signal of genuine value
- **External links in post body** — **-60% reach penalty** — always put links in first comment

Practical implication: write posts that make people stop and read, not just click like.
Long-form text with a strong hook outperforms short posts with a link.

### Personal Profile Priority — The 8× Rule
Personal profiles receive ~65% of feed allocation. Company pages receive ~5%.
For Teqfocus: **every LinkedIn asset is written for Jas's personal profile first.**
Company page posts are repurposed from personal content — never the other way around.

### 2026 Format Performance Hierarchy (Oktopost B2B Benchmark, March 2026, n=1,000+ pages)
| Format | Engagement rate | Teqfocus priority |
|---|---|---|
| Document carousel (PDF post) | 6.60% | **#1 — weekly** |
| Native video (60–90 seconds) | 5.60% | **#2 — weekly** |
| Text post (1,300–3,000 chars) | 2.90% | **#3 — weekly** |
| External link post | ~1.5% (penalized) | Avoid — link in first comment |

### Teqfocus Posting Schedule (Jas personal profile — 3–4/week validated)
**Tuesday:** Carousel — "5 lessons from [Guest] on [Topic]" or "The [Healthcare/Insurance/SaaS] AI readiness framework"
- 8–12 slides, portrait 4:5, one idea per slide, hook on slide 1, CTA on last
- PDF carousel: each swipe = engagement signal = extends dwell time

**Wednesday:** Native video clip from TeqTalk episode
- 60–90 seconds, talking-head, captions burned in (85% watched silent)
- First 3 seconds must contain a specific number or contrarian claim
- No external link in post — link in first comment

**Friday:** Text post — 1,300–3,000 characters
- Single insight, question, or contrarian take
- Opens with a hook (number, bold claim, or pattern interrupt)
- Closes with a question to drive comments
- No external link in post body

**Optional 4th post:** Quote card or poll

**Format rotation rule:** Never repeat the same format two consecutive posts — 40% faster follower growth.

### Hook Patterns — 2026 Performance Data
Hooks with a specific number had 37% higher completion rates (Hootsuite 2025 Social Trends).
Hooks under 2 seconds had 23% higher completion than 4–5 second openings (Later.com, 10,000 viral posts).

Patterns ranked by performance for Teqfocus CIO/CDO audience:
1. Specific contrarian claim: "Your Agentforce project doesn't have an AI problem. It has a data problem."
2. Specific number: "73% of healthcare AI projects never reach production. Here's why." [VERIFY]
3. Direct question: "When did your Salesforce stop being a system of record and become a system of hope?"
4. Pattern interrupt: "Nobody talks about this in enterprise AI. [pause] The data layer."

### Employee Advocacy — Non-Negotiable for Teqfocus
With 1 SDR/BDR, organic reach from employee posts is the primary volume lever.
Each team member post from Avi, Afraz, Suds, or practice leads:
- Reaches their first-degree network (typically 500–2,000 connections each)
- Signals to the algorithm that the content has genuine interest outside Jas's network
- 561% documented reach increase vs company-only posting

**Minimum advocacy cadence for Teqfocus:**
- Avi: 2 personal posts/week (GTM strategy, campaign thinking, market observations)
- AEs (Afraz, Suds): 1 post/week each (deal patterns, customer observations, vertical insights)
- Re-share rule: Always add a personal POV when re-sharing — never a blank re-share

### LinkedIn Newsletter Strategy
2026 LinkedIn Newsletter benchmarks: 40–50% open rates, 150% YoY subscriber growth.
Notification-delivered to subscribers — significantly higher reach than standard posts.

Teqfocus should maintain:
- **TeqTalk Newsletter** — episode-by-episode, 40–50% open rate target
- Structured as: Hook (what this episode changed) → 3 insights → Guest quote → CTA (book call or next episode)

### Lead Gen Forms — Primary Conversion Tool
LinkedIn Lead Gen Form benchmarks (2026):
- 10–15% conversion rate (vs 2–5% on external landing pages)
- $75–110 CPL for B2B tech services
- 80%+ form completion rate (pre-filled from LinkedIn profile)

Use for: Data Readiness Assessment downloads, TeqTalk episode resource packs, event registrations.
Never send to external landing page when a Lead Gen Form will convert 3–7× better.

### ABM Paid LinkedIn — Teqfocus Governance
From FY2026 ABM Strategy (non-negotiable):
- CPL > $250 → pause and rotate creative
- CPL > $300 → shift budget from Ads to InMail
- No always-on spend — burst-only during event windows
- Suppression rule: pause Podcast-targeted ads 30 days before any event in that geo
- UTM mandatory: utm_source=linkedin | utm_medium=paid | utm_campaign=[vertical]-[quarter]
