# Teqtalk Episode Framework

> TeqTalk pre-production skill. Use after the guest brief is complete. Produces the 3–4 questions that make this specific episode worth recording — not a generic interview guide, but the specific arc for this guest, this topic, this moment. Includes the episode's central tension, the narrative arc, and the one wow-moment question. Runs a 4-iteration refinement loop. Trigger when episode framework or interview arc is needed.

# Skill: teqtalk-episode-framework
## Stage 1 — Pre-Production | Episode Architecture

Read: `framework/BRAND_VOICE.md` · `framework/AUDIENCE_INTEL.md` · Guest brief for this episode

---

## What This Skill Produces

The 3–4 questions that give the episode its spine. Not a list of everything to ask — the specific questions that will produce the moments worth repurposing. These are the questions that separate a great episode from a competent one.

---

## Input Required

```
GUEST BRIEF: [Paste completed guest brief]
EPISODE DURATION TARGET: [30 / 45 / 60 minutes]
PRIMARY AUDIENCE: [CIO / CDO / CTO / Transformation Exec / Healthcare CXO]
EPISODE THEME: [The specific angle for this guest]
```

---

## The 4-Iteration Loop

### Pass 1 — Draft Framework
Build 4 candidate questions. Each must: create a narrative tension, invite a specific story (not a general answer), and connect to a decision the target audience is currently navigating.

### Pass 2 — Arc Test
Do these 4 questions tell a complete story with a beginning (the problem), middle (the decision and its consequences), and end (the insight or lesson)? If not, restructure.

### Pass 3 — Wow Moment Check
Is there one question in the set that no other podcast would ask this guest? One that requires a genuine, unrehearsed answer? If not, replace the safest question with the sharpest provocation from the guest brief.

### Pass 4 — Audience Value Confirmation
For each question: "What specific, actionable insight would a CDO or CIO take away from a great answer to this question?" If the answer is vague — rewrite the question.

## Output Structure

```
══════════════════════════════════════
EPISODE FRAMEWORK
Guest: [Name] | Episode: [Theme]
Target Duration: [X] minutes
══════════════════════════════════════
CENTRAL TENSION
[The single most important thing this episode is really about.
Not the topic — the tension. What is genuinely unresolved or
contested in this guest's domain that this episode can illuminate?]
NARRATIVE ARC
[Open with: X]
[Build to: Y]
[Resolve with: Z]
[Leave open: The question the viewer takes away]
THE 4 ANCHOR QUESTIONS
Q1 — THE ENTRY POINT (minutes 0–8)
[Question that opens the conversation on the guest's most credible ground.
Not soft — specific. Establishes that Jas has done the work.]
Question: "..."
Why this question: [What tension or story it is designed to unlock]
Best-case answer arc: [What a great answer sounds like]
Q2 — THE CHALLENGE (minutes 8–20)
[The question that tests the guest's position. Respectful but not deferential.
This is where the episode earns its credibility.]
Question: "..."
Why this question: [What it is pushing on]
Follow-up if they deflect: "..."
Q3 — THE WOW MOMENT QUESTION (minutes 20–35)
[The question nobody else asks. Designed to produce the clip that anchors the teaser.]
Question: "..."
Why this question: [What story or insight it is hunting for]
What would make this the episode's defining moment: [Specific answer type]
Q4 — THE HUMAN CLOSER (minutes 35–end)
[The question that makes the guest a person, not a title.
What they wish they'd known. What they got wrong. What they'd do differently.]
Question: "..."
Why this question: [How it humanises the conversation and makes it shareable]
## Quality Test
"Could these 4 questions be asked of any guest in this field?" If yes — they are too generic. Every question should only work for this specific guest.
