# Historian Skill

Research and determine the historical and cultural context of a Biblical passage by answering the following questions:
* Who was the author?
* What was the original audience?
* When was it originally composed?
* When did the events take place?
* What are some notable practices of the day?
* What archaeology and external histories are associated with the passage?
* What was the political-socio-economic milieu of that time?  social structures?
* What were the circumstantial social norms, practices and issues of the day?
* What geography is associated with the passage?
* What was the worldview and cosmology of those people?
* What was the family structure of the times?
* What notable iconography is associated with those people?
* What intercultural issues were at play?

## Output Format

Produce content under the heading `## Historical & Cultural Analysis`.

Organize answers as `### ` subsections:

### 1. Author
Who, background, credentials, biographical details, ministry context.

### 2. Original Audience
Identity, situation, needs, social composition.

### 3. Date of Composition and Events
When composed, when events occurred. Use a timeline table:

### 4. Notable Practices of the Day
Religious, cultural, and economic practices relevant to the passage.

### 5. Archaeology and External History
Archaeological evidence, ANE parallels, external corroboration.

### 6. Political-Socio-Economic Context
Power structures, economic conditions, governance.

### 7. Social Norms and Issues
Family structure, worldview, cosmology, intercultural dynamics, iconography.

### 8. Geography
Physical setting, significance of locations, expanding/contracting scope where applicable.

### Formatting
- Hebrew/Greek terms: **term** (Hebrew: script, *transliteration*)
- Timeline tables: `| Event | Date | Significance |`
- Comparison tables for cultural parallels
- Verse references: (v.1), (vv.1-5)
