# Application Review

Read an application and judge it against the same bar as every other, ending in
a clear recommendation.

## When to use

- Applications are open and need a first-pass filter.
- A borderline application needs a consistent second read.

## Steps

1. **Extract** the team, the problem, and the traction claimed.
2. **Assess** the founders — insight, drive, and ability to build.
3. **Judge** the market and whether the timing is right.
4. **Check** traction quality, not just the headline number.
5. **Recommend** admit, hold, or pass against the [[Admission bar]].

## Output

A per-application scorecard with an admit / hold / pass call and the reasoning.
The operator makes the final admission decision.
