# Offer Letter

Turn an approved hiring decision into a clear offer the candidate can say yes to
without a follow-up question.

## When to use

- A candidate has cleared interviews and the operator approves an offer.
- A verbal offer needs to be put in writing.

## Steps

1. **Confirm** the role, level, and approved compensation.
2. **Assemble** the terms: salary, equity, start date, and benefits.
3. **State** any contingencies — references, background, or eligibility.
4. **Draft** the letter in plain, warm language with a clear deadline.
5. **Check** every number and date against the approval.
