Design the thumbnail and title together so they earn the click honestly and set
up the video to deliver.

## When to use

- A video is edited and needs its packaging.
- Click-through is low despite strong watch time.

## Steps

1. **Name** the single idea the thumbnail must communicate.
2. **Choose** one focal subject and a clear, high-contrast composition.
3. **Pair** the title and thumbnail so neither repeats the other.
4. **Promise** only what the video delivers — no bait.
5. **Draft** two variants to test against each other.
