Navigator now integrates with Claude Code's official OpenTelemetry support to provide **real-time session metrics**.

- `scripts/post-install.sh` - Auto-enablement on plugin install/update

- Removed `session_stats.py` (file-size estimation) → Real OTel metrics

**Updated**:
- nav-start skill now calls OTel stats automatically

- OTel disabled → Shows setup instructions
- OTel enabled, no metrics yet → Shows waiting message

## 🔄 Migration Guide

### From v3.0.x to v3.1.0

**No breaking changes** - seamless upgrade:

1. **Update plugin**:

2. **Accept OTel prompt** (or decline - it's optional):

3. **Restart terminal**:

### If You Skipped OTel Setup

Enable later anytime:
