## Session Overview

This session focused on automating the generation of Easy difficulty diagrams that had high MicroSim recommendation scores (>90). The workflow involved:

1. Creating a Python script to filter and extract specifications from diagrams.csv
2. Running the script to identify 2 Easy diagrams with scores > 90
3. Automatically generating both MicroSims using their recommended skills
4. Creating complete, documented, and functional MicroSim packages

**Key Achievement**: Automated the end-to-end process from diagram identification to MicroSim generation.

---

## Part 1: Generate Easy Diagrams Script

### Initial Request

**User Message**:
> Please generate a new python program that goes through all the rows in @docs/learning-graph/diagrams.csv and runs the correct claude microsim generator skill on the first recommended skill all the lines where Difficulty=Easy and the match score is above 90.

### Script Creation

Created `$HOME/Documents/ws/claude-skills/src/diagram-reports/generate-easy-diagrams.py`

**Script Capabilities**:

1. **Read and Filter**: Loads diagrams.csv and filters for:
   - Difficulty = "Easy"
   - First recommendation score > 90 (configurable threshold)

2. **Extract Specifications**: For each matching diagram:
   - Locates the chapter directory
   - Reads the chapter's index.md file
   - Extracts the full diagram specification from the `<details>` block
   - Removes MicroSim recommendation sections

3. **Generate Output Files**:
   - **generation-report.md**: Summary of all candidates by chapter and generator
   - **execution-plan.md**: Step-by-step instructions organized by MicroSim generator type
   - **specs/*.md**: Individual specification files for each diagram

4. **Command-Line Options**:
   - `--csv PATH`: Custom CSV file path
   - `--chapters-dir PATH`: Custom chapters directory
   - `--output-dir PATH`: Custom output directory
   - `--min-score N`: Custom minimum score threshold (default: 90)
   - `--dry-run`: Preview without creating files

### Script Execution

```bash
python src/diagram-reports/generate-easy-diagrams.py
```

**Results**:
```
### Response: Manual Generation Guide
Provided step-by-step instructions for manual diagram generation:
#### Step 1: Review the Execution Plan
```bash
cat docs/learning-graph/easy-diagrams/execution-plan.md
```
#### Step 2: For Each Diagram
**Example workflow**:
1. **Read the specification file**:
   ```bash
   cat docs/learning-graph/easy-diagrams/specs/10-content-generation-process-timeline.md
   ```
2. **Invoke the skill** via chat message:
   ```
   Please use the timeline-generator skill to create the following diagram:

   [paste specification content]
   ```
3. **Verify output**: Check that the MicroSim was created in `docs/sims/{name}/`
#### Alternative: Shorter Format
Reference the file directly:
```
Use the timeline-generator skill with the specification at:
docs/learning-graph/easy-diagrams/specs/10-content-generation-process-timeline.md
```
### User Choice
