# Investor Deck Builder Skill

## When to activate
When preparing financial summary for investor/board review; creating data-backed narrative around performance, trajectory, and risk.

## When NOT to use
For internal variance analysis (use `variance-reporter`). For strategic modeling (use `financial-modeler`).

## Instructions
1. **Establish narrative** — Define the story: growth thesis, unit economics, path to profitability.
2. **Headline KPIs** — Revenue, growth rate, gross margin, burn rate, runway, CAC payback.
3. **Trends** — 3-year YTD chart for revenue, gross margin, customer count, churn.
4. **Forward guidance** — Next 12 months: revenue forecast (with range), profitability milestones.
5. **Risk section** — Material risks, mitigation plan, covenant compliance status.
6. **Format** — Executive summary (3–5 slides): headline slide, KPI dashboard, trend charts, guidance, risks.

## Example
YoY revenue growth: 35% (outpacing market 8%). Gross margin: 72% (improving 3pts YoY). Runway: 18 months at current burn. Risk: customer concentration (top 3 = 40% revenue).
