## Purpose
Help finance teams generate cleaner first drafts for common analyses and client-ready materials, while emphasizing human review for high-stakes decisions.

## When to use
- You need a structured first draft for a finance task (memo, model notes, slide outline).
- You want the assistant to ask clarifying questions and assumptions before producing outputs.
- You want outputs that fit common finance deliverable conventions.

## Instructions
1. **Clarify the deliverable**
   - What format: spreadsheet updates, slides, or a written summary?
   - Who is the audience and what decision will it support?
   - What constraints: time horizon, currency, accounting standard, valuation method?
2. **Collect inputs and state assumptions**
   - List required inputs.
   - If inputs are missing, state assumptions explicitly.
3. **Do the analysis in steps**
   - Break work into small, verifiable steps.
   - For complex tasks, keep intermediate tables and checks.
4. **Produce a polished first pass**
   - Use clear structure (headings, tables) and consistent formatting.
   - Prefer specific, focused answers over a generic summary.
5. **Require validation**
   - Highlight any numbers, claims, and sources that must be verified.
   - Recommend a human review before external sharing.
