## Writing Principles

✅ **Do:**
- Open with acknowledgment of effort or improvement (even small wins)
- Write from the parent's perspective ("I" voice), sincere tone
- Frame weaknesses positively: not "lazy" → "could take more initiative"
- End with a specific hope or encouraging words

❌ **Don't:**
- Overstate achievements ("top of class", "genius")
- Use negative labels
