# Salesbuildr Quotes

## Overview

Quotes are proposals sent to customers containing one or more products as line items. Each quote is linked to a company and contact, and can optionally be associated with an opportunity.

## Anti-triggers

- **Emailing the quote to the customer for signature** — Salesbuildr builds
  and prices the quote; turning it into a sendable, signable document is
  `pandadoc-documents`.
- **Quotes in another quoting system** — Kaseya Quote Manager and ConnectWise
  CPQ use identical vocabulary for their own records; use
  `kaseya-quote-manager-quotes` or `connectwise-cpq-quotes`.
- **Billing for a quote the customer accepted** — an accepted quote is not an
  invoice; use `xero-invoices` or `qbo-invoices`.
- **The pipeline record the quote hangs off** — stage, value, and close date
  belong to the opportunity; use `salesbuildr-opportunities`.

## Search Quotes

```
GET /quotes?search=<term>&company_id=<id>&opportunity_id=<id>&from=0&size=25
```

Parameters:
- `search` - Search by quote name/number
- `company_id` - Filter by company
- `opportunity_id` - Filter by opportunity
- `from` - Pagination offset
- `size` - Results per page

## Get Quote by ID

```
GET /quotes/{id}
```
