```
Each phase can also be triggered independently.
---
## Phase 1: Item Analysis & Ad Copy Generation
### When Triggered
User provides an item category and description to advertise.
### Process
1. **Analyze the Item**
   - Identify core value propositions
   - Determine unique selling points (USPs)
   - Map item features to audience pain points
   - Classify the item tone (luxury, casual, professional, fun, etc.)
2. **Define Target Audience**
   - If user specifies audience: use their definition
   - If not: infer optimal audience from item characteristics
   - Consider demographics, psychographics, and buying behavior
3. **Generate Ad Copy Variants**
   - Produce **3 copy variants** per platform, each with a different hook strategy:
     - **Hook A - Problem/Solution**: Lead with the pain point the item solves
     - **Hook B - Benefit-First**: Lead with the key benefit or transformation
     - **Hook C - Social Proof/Urgency**: Lead with credibility or scarcity
### Copy Output Template
```

## Phase 2: Creative Asset Production

### When Triggered

After Phase 1 is complete, or when user requests ad images with item context.

### Process

1. **Derive 4 Visual Styles** based on the item's characteristics:
   - Analyze the item category, tone, and target audience
   - Select 4 complementary styles from the style framework below
   - Each style must serve a different marketing angle

2. **Generate 4 Ad Images** using image generation capabilities

### Style Framework

Select 4 styles from these categories based on item fit:

| Style | Description | Best For |
|-------|-------------|----------|
| **Clean Minimal** | White/neutral background, product focus, elegant typography | Luxury, tech, premium items |
| **Lifestyle Context** | Product in real-life usage scenario with people | Fashion, food, wellness |
| **Bold & Graphic** | Strong colors, large typography, attention-grabbing | Sales, launches, youth-targeted |
| **Mood & Aesthetic** | Atmospheric, color-graded, editorial feel | Beauty, travel, lifestyle brands |
| **Flat Lay / Arrangement** | Top-down product arrangement with props | Food, accessories, stationery |
| **Before/After** | Transformation comparison | Fitness, beauty, cleaning products |
| **Infographic Style** | Feature callouts, specs, comparison data | Tech, SaaS, educational products |
| **UGC / Authentic** | Casual, user-generated content aesthetic | Affordable, everyday products |

### Image Generation Instructions

For each of the 4 images, generate with these specifications:

```
Image [N] — [Style Name]
- Concept: [Brief visual concept description]
- Platform: [Instagram Feed / Facebook Feed / Both]
- Dimensions: [1080x1080 or 1200x628]
- Key Elements: [Product, text overlay, background, props]
- Color Palette: [Primary colors]
- Text Overlay: [Headline or CTA from Phase 1 copy]
```

### Image Quality Checklist

- [ ] Product/item is clearly visible and prominent
- [ ] Text overlay is readable (contrast ratio sufficient)
- [ ] Brand consistency across all 4 images
- [ ] Platform-appropriate dimensions
- [ ] No text covering more than 20% of image area (Facebook rule)

---

## Phase 3: Performance Reporting

### When Triggered

User provides advertising performance data (text, CSV, JSON, or describes metrics).

### Supported Metrics

| Metric | Definition | Benchmark |
|--------|-----------|-----------|
| **Impressions** | Total times ad was shown | Varies by budget |
| **Clicks** | Total clicks on the ad | - |
| **CTR** | Click-Through Rate (Clicks / Impressions × 100) | 0.9% - 1.5% (good) |
| **CPC** | Cost Per Click (Spend / Clicks) | $0.50 - $2.00 |
| **CPM** | Cost Per 1,000 Impressions (Spend / Impressions × 1,000) | $5 - $15 |
| **ROAS** | Return on Ad Spend (Revenue / Spend) | 3x+ (profitable) |
| **Conversion Rate** | Conversions / Clicks × 100 | 2% - 5% (good) |
| **Frequency** | Avg times each person saw the ad | 1.5 - 3.0 (optimal) |
| **Spend** | Total ad expenditure | Budget dependent |

### Data Input

Accept data in any of these formats:
- **Text**: User describes metrics in conversation
- **CSV**: File with columns matching metrics above
- **JSON**: Structured data object with metric keys

Use `parse_ad_data` script for CSV/JSON parsing:
```bash
python scripts/parse_ad_data.py --input data.csv --format csv
```

### Report Generation Process

1. **Parse Data**: Extract all available metrics
2. **Calculate Derived Metrics**: Compute any missing metrics from available data
3. **Benchmark Analysis**: Compare against industry benchmarks
4. **Trend Identification**: Identify patterns (improving/declining metrics)
5. **Generate Insights**: Actionable recommendations based on data

Use `generate_ad_report` script for structured report output:
```bash
python scripts/generate_ad_report.py --input parsed_data.json
```

### Report Output Template
