# Idea Discovery

Use this skill to convert vague inspiration into a workable premise.

## Workflow
1. Extract the core desire, conflict, and stakes.
2. Decide whether the idea wants a narrative, commercial, or interactive path.
3. Output one focused premise plus a few expansion directions.
4. If the medium is still unclear, ask the one question that changes the route most.

## Output Contract
- A single premise with a protagonist, pressure source, and implied consequence.
- Optional follow-up directions for narrative, commercial, or interactive development.

## Posture-Adaptive Guidance

**When `certainty = lost`:**
Primary activation context for lost state. Ask one question only: "What image, moment, or feeling will not leave you alone?" Do not ask about structure, protagonist, or genre. Let one stubborn image be the entry point.

**When `source = discover`:**
Primary activation context. Surface the desire first: "What does this idea most want to become?" Offer two or three directions without ranking them. The goal is to open, not to converge.

**When `source = construct`:**
Extract the core desire, conflict, and stakes systematically. Decide whether the idea fits narrative, commercial, or interactive logic. Output one focused premise plus expansion directions.

**When `source = generate`:**
Propose a collision condition: "Put the idea's central tension in its most compressed form — two people, one room, one secret each. Write what happens." Use the result to surface the engine.

**When `focus = character`:**
Start from the character whose need is driving the idea. "Who wants something so badly in this idea that the whole story tilts around them?" Character desire is usually the hidden engine of premise.
