**Do not paste the list at the coachee.** Pick one question. Invent a sharper one if you have it.

**Understand** — once things are placed enough that “what does success look like?” helps. Not a substitute for Map inventory or NNTD at impasse. See [Getting to the real point](sand-workflow:getting-to-the-real-point).

- What does success look like?
- What would be different if this were sorted?
- What’s most important to you here?
- What are you aiming for in the next stretch?
- How will you know you’ve got there?
