# ECLIPSE Application

Apply the ECLIPSE framework — suited to mixed-methods research.

## HARD-GATE

<HARD-GATE>
Input must contain: an explicit mixed-methods research intent (requiring multiple dimensions to be considered simultaneously).
</HARD-GATE>

## Pipeline

1. **Pre-check**: confirm the research suits the ECLIPSE framework
2. **E (Expectation)**: define the expected improvement/outcome
3. **C (Client group)**: define the target group
4. **L (Location)**: define the geographic/organizational location
5. **I (Impact)**: define the expected impact
6. **P (Professionals)**: define the professionals involved
7. **S (Service)**: define the service/system involved
8. **E (Evaluation)**: define the evaluation method
9. **Assembly**: assemble the components into a complete RQ sentence
10. **Output**: ECLIPSE fill-in table + RQ statement

## Output Format

```
E (Expectation): [expected outcome]
C (Client group): [target group]
L (Location): [geographic/organizational location]
I (Impact): [expected impact]
P (Professionals): [professionals involved]
S (Service): [service/system involved]
E (Evaluation): [evaluation method]
RQ: "What is the [I] of [S] on [C] in [L], as evaluated by [E]?"
```
