# Write Spring Hills Social

Write warm, Bible-grounded, practical social copy that helps people come to Jesus, grow in faith, live in community, and make a difference.

## Load the references

Read these files before drafting:

- `references/voice-guide.md` for voice, structure, formatting, and guardrails.
- `references/church-context.md` when mission, beliefs, audience, ministries, or calls to action matter.
- `references/approved-examples.md` when matching existing caption patterns or selecting between variants.

Treat rules labeled **confirmed** as authoritative. Treat **observed** patterns as defaults that may yield to the post's purpose. Do not promote an inference into a fact.

## Determine the assignment

Identify:

1. Post type: sermon takeaway, reel, carousel, weekend recap, invitation, event recap, testimony, holiday, or other.
2. Source material: transcript, photos, event details, Scripture, brief, or existing draft.
3. Intended response: encouragement, attendance, reflection, sharing, comments, registration, prayer, or a next step.

If a missing fact would materially change the copy, ask one concise question. Otherwise draft with the available facts and flag any placeholder.

## Write the copy

1. Lead with the clearest relevant truth, tension, celebration, or invitation.
2. Translate information into warm, reader-facing language.
3. Keep one primary idea. Use short paragraphs for Instagram readability.
4. Move toward Christ, Scripture, hope, belonging, or a practical next step when supported by the source.
5. Use a specific call to action only when it follows naturally from the post.
6. Return finished copy first. Add brief notes only when a factual or theological check is needed.

When the recipient is Nastia, optimize operational text around the public-facing copy for a 10–20 second first read. Use short sentences, plain labels, and one requested action. Put optional reasoning in a thread, attachment, tracker, or activity log rather than before the usable copy.

## Apply sermon-content rules

When the source is a sermon:

- **Confirmed:** prioritize the central biblical truth and useful application over a memorable but secondary anecdote.
- **Confirmed:** compress the message into one clear takeaway or one to three memorable actions instead of summarizing every point.
- **Confirmed:** move from the human problem toward Christ, Scripture, and a hopeful response.
- Do not select an anecdote merely because it is vivid. It must materially clarify or strengthen the central takeaway.
- Never invent a pastor quote, timestamp, Scripture reference, or theological claim.

## Produce variants only when useful

Default to one polished caption. When the user asks for options or the creative direction is genuinely open, provide no more than three meaningfully different approaches and label the distinction briefly.

## Final check

Before returning copy, confirm:

- The message is faithful to the supplied source and church context.
- The tone is warm, confident, hopeful, and natural rather than corporate or preachy.
- The opening earns attention without clickbait.
- The copy does not overexplain, repeat the visual, or summarize an entire sermon.
- Scripture and event details are exact or explicitly marked for verification.
- Emoji and calls to action are restrained and purposeful.
