Supabase CLI for Local Development and Database Migrations
Supabase CLI manages local Supabase projects, database migrations, types, and edge functions. It is the upstream command-line tool for developers who need to work against Supabase from the terminal and CI.

Installation
Use the upstream install or setup path that matches your environment:
- npm i supabase --save-dev
- npm i supabase@beta --save-dev
- brew install supabase/tap/supabase
- brew install supabase/tap/supabase-beta
Requirements and caveats from upstream:
- For Bun versions below v1.0.17, you must add supabase as a trusted dependency before running bun add -D supabase.
