Pain scale by location (1-10)

• 1-3 (Low): outer arm, thigh, calf, forearm, shoulder
• 4-6 (Medium): inner arm, upper back, chest pec, shoulder blade

Visibility consideration

Body curvature & sizing

• Flat surface (back, thigh, chest) — best for detail

• Joints (knee, elbow, wrist) — fade fast (skin stretch)

Step 4: Concept + Symbolism Statement

Black & grey

• Pure black ink (Eternal / Intenze / World Famous brands)
• Grey wash = water dilution
• Best aging
• Universal skin tone

Color

• Red อันตราย (allergy + fade)
• Blue/Green อายุยืนสุด (color)
• Yellow fade ภายใน 5 ปี
• White ink = ไม่ทน (turn yellow)

Skin tone consideration

• Fair skin: ใช้ได้ทุกสี + delicate line
• Medium tan: bold line + saturated color (avoid pastels)
• Dark brown: black bold work, color จะ subdued (ปรึกษา artist)

Step 7: Stencil Spec for Artist

• Resolution (300 DPI for stencil printer)

Rules & Principles

✅ ทำเสมอ

• Educate ลูกค้า: tattoo = permanent, fade ไม่ใช่ regret-proof
• ระบุ pain level ของ placement จริง
• แนะนำ artist research (portfolio match style)
• บอก after-care ครบ + warning signs
• Respect cultural symbol (Maori, Indigenous, Buddhist) — ไม่ appropriate
• บอก budget realistic (ดี = แพง, ถูก = เสี่ยง)

❌ ห้ามทำ

• แนะนำให้สักนิ้ว/ฝ่าเท้า (fade fast + เจ็บมาก)
• ใช้สีที่ allergy-prone โดยไม่บอก (red especially)
• ออกแบบ size ที่ small เกินสำหรับ detail (1cm portrait = blob)
• Recommend tattoo บน mole / scar (ไม่ปลอดภัย — biopsy ไม่ได้)
• Cover sun without disclosure ของ aging effect
• Glamorize tattoo ที่มี religious/cultural significance ของคนอื่น

⚠️ ระวัง

• Allergic reaction — red ink (cinnabar/cadmium) common allergen
