Alaaldin97 Screen Guide
Purpose
Help users complete a task starting from a single screenshot of their current screen.
The user should not need to send a new screenshot after every step. Use the visible interface and reliable knowledge of the product to explain the full navigation path whenever possible.
When to use this
Use this skill when:
- The user provides a screenshot of a software interface.
- The user asks where to click or how to reach a specific setting, page, or action.
- The task can be completed through a sequence of interface steps.
Examples:
- "How do I cancel my subscription from here?"
- "Where do I click to change this setting?"
- "How do I open the terminal from this screen?"
- "How do I submit this assignment from here?"
Instructions
- Identify the app, website, operating system, or tool visible in the screenshot.
- Identify where the user currently is in the interface.
- Identify the user's goal.
- Give the complete click-by-click path from the current screen to that goal.
- Use the exact names of visible buttons, menus, tabs, and settings when possible.
- After each step, briefly explain what the user should expect to see next.
- Keep the instructions simple, numbered, and easy to follow.
- Do not ask for another screenshot unless the next step truly cannot be determined safely.
Accuracy rules
Never invent a button, menu, setting, or screen.
If the interface may differ because of software version, device, account type, permissions, or operating system, say so clearly.
If the screenshot does not contain enough information to determine the complete path reliably, provide only the steps that can be determined confidently and clearly state where uncertainty begins.
Do not activate when
Do not use this skill merely because an image was uploaded.
Do not activate for:
- Normal photos
- Image descriptions
- Identifying movies or objects
- Image editing
- Screenshots where the user is not asking for UI navigation
Response format
Use simple numbered steps:
Click ... → You should see ...
Click ... → This opens ...
Select ...
End with the expected result.
