Amazon Quick Community

Overview

Provides awareness and navigation for the Amazon Quick Community (community.amazonquicksight.com), the public forum for Quick users worldwide. The skill routes users to the appropriate community section based on their need, searches for existing answers to questions, and summarizes available community features and resources. Covers categories including Q&A, Learning Center, Events, and Features.

Workflow

<Definition - Community Categories> The Amazon Quick Community is organized into the following sections:

• Q&A: Users ask questions, share knowledge, and get answers from other users and Quick specialists.
• Learn (Learning Center): On-demand videos, tutorials, and articles covering basic to advanced capabilities.
• What's New (Announcements): Feature launches, product updates, and news.
• Events: Live webinars, workshops, user group meetups, and the Quick Learning Series.
• Features (Capabilities): Discussions about specific Quick capabilities like Quick Flows, Quick Automate, Quick Research, and more. </Definition - Community Categories>

<Definition - User Groups> Local in-person meetups where Quick users connect face-to-face. Currently active in:

• U.S.: Los Angeles (Santa Monica), Chicago, Phoenix, Austin, New York City, Boston

<Definition - Quick Learning Series> Free weekly live webinars covering feature launches, best practices, and deep dives. <Definition - Content Types> Community content is organized by type:

• Video: Recorded sessions, tutorials, and walkthroughs (hosted on YouTube)
• Technical Article: How-to guides and implementation walkthroughs
• Blog: Tips, use cases, and success stories
• What's New: Feature announcements and product updates

A tagging structure is used across the community to group and categorize content by topic. </Definition - Content Types>

<Definition - Events> Community events fall into four categories:

• Live recurring: Consistent weekly/biweekly sessions like the Quick Learning Series
• One-off events: Special webinars or workshops on specific topics
• User groups: Regional in-person meetups (see User Groups definition)
• Summits and conferences: AWS Summits, Gartner, and other industry events where Amazon Quick has a presence with live demonstrations and hands-on experiences </Definition - Events>

   • Asking a question or looking for answers → Q&A

   • Interested in specific product capabilities (dashboards, analytics, Flows, Automate, Research, Spaces, Chat Agents, embedding, SPICE, paginated reports, data preparation, and more) → Features

2. [Agent] Present the recommended section with a brief description of what the user will find there. Link to the community homepage and tell them which section to navigate to. Include the Official Documentation link from the Community URL Map as the authoritative reference for product behavior. If fails: If a needed link from the Community URL Map is unavailable, fall back to the Community Homepage link and tell the user which section to look for there.

1. [Agent] Generate 2-3 variations of the user's question (rephrasings, alternate terminology, related keywords). Search each variation using web_search with the query prefixed by "site:community.amazonquicksight.com". Collect all results. If fails: If web_search errors or returns nothing usable for every variation, continue to the browser fallback in step 2 rather than stopping.

2. [Decide] Did web_search return relevant results?

   • Yes → Continue to step 3.
   • No or insufficient → Fall back to browser. Use browser_navigate to load https://community.amazonquicksight.com/search?q={query} and browser_extract_text to read the results.

3. [Agent] Deduplicate and rank results by relevance to the original question. Select the top 3-5 most relevant posts. If fails: If the results cannot be ranked (for example they are unstructured), present the raw result links unranked so the user still gets the sources.

4. [Decide] Did the search return relevant community posts?

   • Yes → Present the top results with titles and direct links. Summarize the key answer if one exists. Cross-reference the Official Documentation from the Community URL Map for the relevant topic and include that link as the authoritative source.
   • No → Inform the user that no existing answer was found. Recommend they post their question in the Q&A section of the community. Remind them of the community posting guidelines:
     • The community is public. Do not post confidential, proprietary, or internal company information.
     • Do not share credentials, account IDs, or personally identifiable information.
     • Keep questions focused on Amazon Quick product usage and best practices.
     • Review the full community guidelines (see Community URL Map) before posting.

   • All content is browsable without an account (only posting to Q&A requires sign-in)
   • Official documentation is the authoritative source for product behavior
   • Community guidelines should be reviewed before posting If fails: If a referenced link from the Community URL Map is unavailable, present the summary with the remaining valid links and note which resource could not be included.

1. [Agent] After completing any Recommend, Search, or Awareness interaction, ask the user if they would like to stay updated on community content. Offer these options:

   • What's New: Get notified about new feature announcements and product updates
   • Events: Stay informed about upcoming live sessions, workshops, and webinars
   • User Groups: Get updates about local meetups in their region
   • Q&A Activity: Surface new questions or answers on topics they care about If fails: If the update options cannot be presented, skip the subscription offer and let the user know they can ask about community updates anytime.

2. [Decide] Did the user express interest?

   • Yes → Ask which topics or sections interest them, and if relevant (user groups, events), ask their region. Then search the community for the latest content in those areas. Use web_search first; if insufficient, fall back to browser_navigate to load the relevant community page and browser_extract_text to read the content. Present the latest findings.
   • No → Acknowledge and move on. Do not ask again in the same session.

3. [Agent] If the user wants recurring updates, recommend they set up a scheduled agent in Amazon Quick. Describe what the schedule would do: periodically browse the community for new posts in their chosen sections and surface anything new since the last check. If fails: If the scheduled-agent recommendation cannot be generated, give the user the community section links to check manually on their own cadence.
