Activation
Teach a contextual language lesson from explicit inputs, independently or within a caller's learning path. On-demand text correction and vocabulary export are separate methods, not mandatory dependencies.
Inputs
Target and native languages, level, relevant situation, and learner preference for input/production. Optional: bilingual prior units with dates and outcomes, supplied current date/due units, known phrases, synthetic gaps, mission production criteria, and materials language.
Method
Create a short compelling dialogue in the target language with a natural native translation. Reuse known phrases and introduce a few useful chunks. Ask for a brief gist check; adjust text length and new-item count from the observed response. Never invent comprehension percentages.
Invite production without forcing it. For supplied due units, hide the original and ask the learner to reconstruct meaning from the native text. Compare with the original afterward; accept natural equivalent wording. Give focused feedback on meaning-changing omissions or structural errors and invite another attempt.
Use dates, never unit counts, for delayed practice. The initial policy is three days after passive exposure, configurable by the learner. The caller supplies/validates due dates. Same-day units do not become due because more units exist. When new units end, continue remaining due active units until the finite course is drained; show future dates honestly.
A completed active unit needs observed comprehension and meaning-preserving production. Material unresolved differences mean needs-another-attempt. Input-only remains valid; a production-requiring mission keeps those criteria pending until demonstrated.
Keep phrase candidates distinct from exported vocabulary. Propose foundational grammar retention only after teaching, with exact cue/answer previews and learner selection. Neither a gap's adoption nor a candidate implies scheduled cards. One item has one review system unless the learner explicitly requests an exception.
Output
Return the bilingual lesson, actual gist/production evidence, proposed unit status, next due information if supplied, and optional vocabulary/grammar/gap proposals inline. Use this directory's assets when useful. No sibling invocation, queue/registry mutation, directory discovery, or implicit saving.
