- Flutter's
Semanticswidget doesn't always map 1:1 to native a11y APIs — always test with actual TalkBack and VoiceOver on real devices - Custom-drawn widgets (Canvas, CustomPainter) have no automatic semantics — you must add them manually
- Third-party packages often lack accessibility — audit and patch or wrap with Semantics
- Platform views in Flutter (WebView, MapView) have their own a11y tree — test separately
