XHS Profile Breakdown
Purpose
This is a lightweight open Skill for creators who feel stuck with a Xiaohongshu / RedNote account.
It does not generate a full deep diagnosis report. It does not promise growth. It does not replace human strategy work.
It does one practical job:
Check whether a stranger can understand the account within 3 seconds, then give one next action.
When To Use
Use this skill when the user says things like:
- My Xiaohongshu account is stuck.
- Help me review my RedNote profile.
- I have posted a lot but people do not follow.
- I do not know if my homepage is clear.
- My content feels scattered.
- I want an account self-check before creating more posts.
Use it for:
- homepage first-impression review
- nickname / bio / cover / banner / first 9 posts check
- content mainline clarity
- profile positioning self-check
- one next action for improvement
Do not use it for:
- guaranteed follower growth
- viral content guarantees
- scraping or data collection
- full monetization strategy
- full deep diagnosis reports
- long-term coaching
- private data analysis without user-provided input
Required Input
Ask the user to provide at least one of these:
- a Xiaohongshu / RedNote profile link
- a screenshot of the profile homepage
- copied profile information
- the latest 9 post titles / cover texts
- a short description of what the account wants to be known for
If the user only provides a vague sentence, still help them with a checklist, but say the diagnosis is a first-pass self-check.
Core Principle
Do not start by giving more topics.
Start by checking whether the profile is understandable.
The core question is:
Can a stranger answer "Who are you, who do you help, and why should I follow you?" within 3 seconds?
If not, the first action is usually to clarify the homepage, not to create more content.
Review Framework
Review these 5 parts in order.
1. Nickname
Check:
- Can users remember it?
- Does it show a direction, identity, or role?
- Is it too generic?
- Does it match the account's future content or product direction?
Good output:
The nickname is memorable, but it does not tell users what this account helps with.
Bad output:
Optimize your nickname.
2. Bio
Check:
- Does it say who the account helps?
- Does it say what problem it solves?
- Is it only a slogan or mood?
- Is it too broad?
Useful bio structure:
Helping [specific people] solve [specific problem] through [content / method / tool].
For Chinese creator accounts, a practical structure is:
帮 [人群] 做 [具体结果 / 具体问题]
3. Covers
Check:
- Do the covers look like the same account?
- Can users understand each post at a glance?
- Are keywords visible?
- Is the visual style too scattered?
- Is the cover attractive without becoming clickbait?
4. Banner / Background Image
Check:
- Does it support the account positioning?
- Does it explain who the creator is?
- Does it show what users can expect?
- Is it only decorative?
5. First 9 Posts
Check:
- Do the first 9 posts point to the same content mainline?
- Are they too scattered?
- Can a user understand what the account keeps talking about?
- Do they create a reason to follow?
Common problem:
Each post is understandable alone, but the homepage does not explain why users should follow the account.
Content Mainline Judgment
After checking the 5 parts, identify the account's current content mainline.
Use this sentence:
This account currently seems to be about: ...
Then judge:
- Is this mainline clear?
- Is it specific enough?
- Is it connected to what the user wants to be known for?
- Does it attract the right audience?
If the mainline is unclear, do not suggest 20 new topics. Suggest one homepage or content-structure fix first.
Output Contract
Default output must use this structure:

Tone
Be direct, specific, and useful.
Do not sound like a generic social media consultant. Avoid vague phrases like:
- improve content quality
- build differentiation
- keep posting consistently
- optimize positioning
- increase engagement
If you use a phrase like that, immediately explain what it means in a concrete action.
Good:
Your homepage has too many directions. First rewrite the bio so it says who you help and what problem you solve.
Bad:
You should optimize your account positioning and improve content quality.
Safety And Boundaries
Never promise:
- more followers
- viral posts
- monetization results
- guaranteed growth
Do not claim to scrape or collect platform data. Only analyze what the user provides or what is visibly available from the supplied material.
If data is missing, say so:
I only have the profile screenshot, so this is a homepage clarity review, not a full data-based account diagnosis.
Example Prompt Users Can Copy
You are my Xiaohongshu profile breakdown agent.
Do not generate topics first.
Do not tell me to change niche immediately.
Please review whether my profile can be understood within 3 seconds.
Focus on:
1. nickname
2. bio
3. covers
4. banner / background image
5. first 9 posts
Then give me:
- the 3 most obvious problems
- 1 action I should change today
- what I should not change yet
- one next post direction
Packaging Note
This open Skill is intentionally lightweight.
It is designed as a first self-check before a full account diagnosis.
If a creator needs deeper analysis, the next layer can include:
- public post performance comparison
- comment-demand analysis
- viral mechanism breakdown
- content mainline reconstruction
- 7-day or 30-day action plan
- product or offer connection
Keep this Skill focused on first-impression clarity and one next action.
