Audn Red-Team Security Audit

Run a comprehensive adversarial security campaign against a target AI agent using the Audn.ai API.

Authentication

All API calls use Bearer token auth. The token must be in the AUDN_API_TOKEN environment variable. If not set, ask the user to provide it or generate one at https://audn.ai/dashboard/settings.

Workflow

Execute these steps in order. Use curl or the HTTP tool for API calls. Always include header Authorization: Bearer $AUDN_API_TOKEN.

Step 1 — Register the Target Agent

If the user provides an API URL (text agent):

• Custom: $.response or $.text — ask if unsure

If the user provides a phone number (voice agent):

Save the returned id as AGENT_ID.

Step 2 — Verify Connectivity

For text agents:

Check that success: true and note the latency_ms and response_preview. If verification fails, report the error and stop.

For voice agents:

Then verify with the code the user receives.

Step 3 — Select Attack Scenarios

Fetch the scenario library:

Select scenarios based on the agent type and user goals. Default selection for a comprehensive audit:

If fewer than 3 scenarios match, also create custom scenarios via:

Collect all scenario_id values.

Step 4 — Create the Campaign

Save the returned campaign_id.

Step 5 — Execute the Campaign

Step 6 — Monitor Progress

Poll every 15 seconds until status is completed or failed:

GET /api/campaigns/<campaign_id>/status

Report progress to the user: "Running: X/Y tests completed (Z passed, W failed)".

Step 7 — Retrieve Results

GET /api/results?campaignId=<campaign_id>&limit=100

Step 8 — Check Vulnerabilities

GET /api/vulnerabilities

Step 9 — Generate Report

Error Handling

• 401 Unauthorized: Token expired or invalid. Ask user to refresh AUDN_API_TOKEN.
• 404 Not Found: Resource doesn't exist. Check IDs.
• 429 Rate Limit: Wait retry_after seconds, then retry.
• Campaign failed: Check error_message field and report to user.
