An objection tells you:

Tips
- The best objection handlers don't "overcome" objections — they make the prospect feel heard, then offer a new perspective. If your response feels like a rebuttal, you're doing it wrong.
- Track which objections correlate with WINS, not just losses. "We need to think about it" followed by a close 2 weeks later is a buying signal disguised as an objection.
- Pre-handling in cold emails works, but be subtle. Don't write "I know you're going to say X, but..." — instead, naturally weave the proof point that neutralizes the objection into your copy.
- New objections are the most valuable data points. When you hear something you've never heard before, investigate immediately. It may signal a market shift, a new competitor, or a gap in your product.
