Why Not Every Entry Is Transformative

The transformative level is the top of the map, not the default. Many strong reflective entries demonstrate making meaning or working with meaning without reaching a durable frame change, and rating them transformative falsely inflates the entry and hides where the deepening work would actually go. An honest not-yet at the transformative level is more useful than a false transformative rating, because it points to the specific move — frame change with consequence — that the deepening would add.
