Provide a narrow, framework-neutral security analysis for one concrete trust-boundary question. This owner identifies assets, invariants, abuse paths, and focused evidence; it does not own implementation, generic review, readiness, or branch actions.
Overview
Use the smallest useful security analysis for the stated scope. Start from an observable path rather than a named vulnerability category, and keep security conclusions separate from remediation and completion judgment.
When to Use
Activate only when:
- the user explicitly asks for a security audit, threat model, or hardening analysis; or
- an active owner identifies a concrete, non-trivial risk at a trust boundary and asks for security analysis.
Do not activate from security vocabulary alone. Ordinary input validation, routine API or architecture work, generic review, test design, and branch or publication work remain with their existing owners.
Process
- Bound the question. State the asset or security property at stake and the smallest question that could confirm, refute, or narrow the risk. Do not turn the request into a repository-wide audit by default.
- Map the boundary. For the relevant path, record:
- Asset: what must be protected or kept correct.
- Actor: who can initiate, influence, or receive the action, including their assumed authority.
- Entry point: the route, job, file, message, integration, tool, or other way the path begins.
- Trust boundary: where data, authority, or execution crosses between actors, components, tenants, or environments.
- Security invariant: what must always remain true.
- Abuse path: the concrete misuse or attacker-controlled sequence that could violate the invariant.
- Focused evidence: the smallest source, configuration, test, log, or authorized runtime observation that bears on the question.
- Select applicable lenses. Choose only lenses implicated by that map. Do not run a universal checklist.
- Inspect evidence. Separate what the current evidence shows from assumptions about deployment, runtime, identity, configuration, or reachability. Treat unavailable runtime or environment facts as
UNVERIFIED.
- Report and route. Record the risk, existing controls, gaps, and recommendation. Name the owner for the next action without silently performing it; ordinary remediation returns to the current implementation owner or base flow, and deployment or publication requires an explicitly named owner or host method.
Applicable Lenses

Evidence Record

Authorization And Trust
Analysis is read-only by default.
