Social copywriting
Write platform-native LinkedIn and X copy. Load after the idea exists. End with No AI slop.
X
- Replies and bookmarks beat likes. External links in the body get throttled; put them in a reply.
- Single post: one idea, hook in the first line (first ~280 characters on long posts).
- Thread: 5–12 tweets. Tweet 1 is the hook only. Every tweet earns the next. Last tweet can ask or stop; no engagement bait.
- 0–2 hashtags. Skip them mid-thread.
- Do not paste LinkedIn copy onto X.
- Founder / build-in-public: real units (spend, views, files), not invented token bills.
- Hook before the “see more” fold (~140 characters on mobile).
- Body ~1,200–1,600 characters unless it is an article.
- No links in the body; “Link in comments.”
- 3–5 hashtags at the end. No engagement bait.
- LinkedIn copy stays with the LinkedIn writer unless asked otherwise.
Hook discipline
If the opening is wrong, do not polish. Change the entry point. Weak hooks restate the topic or start too broad. Strong hooks name a specific pain, proof, image, or mechanism.
Human voice (with No AI slop)
No delve/leverage/utilize/game-changer. No “it’s not X, it’s Y.” No “here’s the thing.” No em dashes in short copy. Vary sentence length. End without announcing the ending.
Critique before rewrite
Name the job, the reader, the strongest existing line, what to keep, then rewrite.
