synapse-plugin-helper:update-config Command Workflow

Codex Adaptation

• Treat the user request or explicitly supplied text as the command arguments.
• Use the available Codex file, search, terminal, and clarification capabilities that match the workflow.
• Do not depend on Claude-only slash command variables or tool names.

Sync Plugin Config

Sync discovered actions and type metadata from code into config.yaml (or synapse.yaml).

Updates include:

• action entrypoints
• input_type / output_type
• hyperparameters.train_ui_schemas (for train/tune actions)

Workflow

Step 1: Locate Config

CONFIG_FILE=config.yaml

if [ ! -f "$CONFIG_FILE" ]; then echo "CONFIG_NOT_FOUND=true"; fi

If no config found:

config.yaml 또는 synapse.yaml을 찾을 수 없습니다.
현재 디렉토리가 플러그인 루트인지 확인하세요.

Step 2: Run Sync

synapse plugin update-config --path [plugin-path]

Or specify the config file explicitly:

synapse plugin update-config --config [config-file]

Step 3: Review Changes

Example output:

Updated config.yaml:
  train: entrypoint=plugin.train:TrainAction, input_type=yolo_dataset, hyperparameters.train_ui_schemas=[epochs, batch_size]
  inference: entrypoint=plugin.inference:run, output_type=inference_results

If no changes:

No changes needed.
Actions have no input_type/output_type declarations, or config is already up to date.

Error Handling

Config file not found

No config.yaml or synapse.yaml found in <path>.

Import errors

Action import failed. Check entrypoint paths and ensure __init__.py files exist.
