Logo Design
Inputs
Inspect brand name, business/category, audience, positioning, required languages, existing marks, competitor/reference material, applications, reproduction constraints, and any trademark or naming constraints supplied by the user.
Procedure
- Reduce the brief to 3-5 identity attributes and one recognition objective.
- Audit obvious category cliches and reference collisions before sketching directions.
- For exploration, create 2-3 distinct concept routes. For each, define idea, symbol logic, wordmark/type direction, geometry, contrast, and intended applications.
- Prefer concepts that can be recognized in flat black before relying on color, gradient, texture, or mockup context.
- Test concept logic against small size, one color, reverse, horizontal/stacked lockups, Chinese/Latin combinations when relevant, and common physical uses.
- Define clear-space, minimum-size, color and misuse guidance only after the mark direction is stable.
- When an editable vector artifact is requested and the toolchain supports it, create clean SVG/vector geometry and inspect paths, alignment, viewBox, and reduction. Otherwise provide a vector-ready construction/handoff spec.
- Run
visual-review on the flat mark, not only on lifestyle mockups.
Deliverables
Concept rationale, primary mark, variants/lockups, color behavior, spacing/minimum-size guidance, application notes, and artifact/verification status.
Failure conditions
Do not trace an existing logo or present a near-copy as original. Do not treat visual similarity checking as legal trademark clearance. Do not hide a weak mark behind premium mockups.

Use for new logos, logo redesigns, logo concept exploration, lockup rules, or identity marks that must work across print and digital applications.4---56# Logo Design78## Inputs910Inspect brand name, business/category, audience, positioning, required languages, existing marks, competitor/reference material, applications, reproduction constraints, and any trademark or naming constraints supplied by the user.1112## Procedure13141.
