Positioning

Use this skill when the user wants to develop, refine, audit, or pressure-test product positioning. Triggers include any mention of 'positioning', 'reposition', 'positioning statement', 'positioning document', 'differentiation', 'competitive alternatives', 'value props', 'category design', or 'how should we position'. Also use when the user describes a market shift, competitor move, or strategic pivot that may require repositioning. Applies April Dunford's Obviously Awesome methodology and treats positioning as a dynamic, evidence-backed practice — not a one-time deliverable. Reads `pmm-context.md` first. Outputs a positioning canvas, positioning statement, and a list of validation experiments. Do NOT use for tactical messaging, taglines, or persona development — those have their own skills.
