4. Execute — implement in small, verifiable steps using Fact-Checking conventions.
5. Verify — validate against each claim traced to a credible primary source and cited.

Best practices

• Trace claims back to original data/sources.
• Corroborate with multiple independent sources.
• Flag uncertainty and what couldn't be verified.
• Quote and link sources exactly; avoid distortion.

Anti-patterns

• Citing secondary sources echoing each other.
• Stating unverified claims as fact.
• Cherry-picking sources that confirm a view.
