Backing Up on iPhone (iCloud Photos)

iCloud is Apple's cloud storage. Every iPhone comes with a free iCloud account (5 GB of free storage).

To turn on iCloud Photos:

1. Open the Settings app (gear icon)
2. Tap your name at the very top of the screen
3. Tap "iCloud"
4. Tap "Photos"
5. Turn on "Sync this iPhone" (the switch should turn green)
6. Your photos will begin uploading to iCloud automatically whenever you are connected to Wi-Fi

How to check if backup is working:

• Open the Photos app
• Scroll to the very bottom of your photo library
• You should see a message like "Updated just now" or "Uploading X items"

If you need more storage: The free 5 GB fills up quickly with photos. To get more:

1. Open Settings
2. Tap your name > iCloud > Manage Account Storage
