What Is an LOI?

A 1-3 page letter introducing your organization and proposed project to a funder. Many foundations require an LOI before inviting a full proposal. Think of it as a cover letter that gets you in the door.

LOI Structure (1-2 pages)

Paragraph 1: Introduction

Full Proposal Structure

Writing Tips for Stronger Proposals

Do
