Cons: Abrasive (requires hardened steel nozzle), brittle
Use when: Stiff structural parts, drone frames, brackets
Print tip: Hardened steel or ruby nozzle mandatory. Standard brass
nozzles will wear out in hours.
Design for Additive Manufacturing
DfAM Principles
ORIENTATION MATTERS:
Parts are weakest along the Z-axis (layer adhesion direction).
