Feedback Synthesis
Core Workflow
- Define the product decision the feedback should inform.
- Inventory sources, segments, date range, sample size, collection bias, and evidence quality.
- Separate raw evidence from interpretation and recommendation.
- Cluster feedback by problem, user segment, workflow, severity, frequency, business impact, and confidence.
- Identify contradictions, outliers, missing segments, and disconfirming evidence.
- Convert findings into opportunities, risks, research questions, and product decisions.
Safety Rules
- Do not treat anecdotal feedback as statistically representative.
- Do not invent customer quotes, counts, segments, or business impact.
- Do not include private customer data unless it is explicitly approved for the artifact.
- Escalate when evidence would affect pricing, legal commitments, roadmap promises, or customer-specific decisions.
Deliverable Shape
For feedback synthesis, provide:
- Decision to inform
- Source inventory and limitations
- Theme summary
- Evidence table or bullet evidence
- Segment differences
- Confidence and gaps
- Product opportunities
- Recommended next decision or validation step
