If the mission is unclear or absent, first establish why the user wants to learn. Tie every lesson to that mission and keep lessons short, self-contained HTML files with reusable assets, trusted citations, a primary source, and a reminder to ask follow-up questions.
Use retrieval practice, spacing, interleaving where appropriate, and immediate feedback. Record only demonstrated understanding, prior knowledge, corrected misconceptions, or mission changes in learning records. Add glossary terms only after the user understands them.
