Minimal Halftone Distance Poster

Use the system imagegen skill and image-generation tool. Treat every uploaded photograph as the edit source. Compress the lower scene into one small subject, one directional relation, and a large printable silence.

Output contract

• Produce one independent raster poster for every uploaded photo. Never combine photos into a collage, contact sheet, comparison layout, diptych, or shared canvas.
• Use a 3:4 portrait canvas with one exact horizontal 50/50 division. Keep truthful photography in the upper half and the minimal halftone print in the lower half. Do not let either medium invade the other.
• Preserve immediate correspondence through the tiny anchor's silhouette, posture, direction, relation, and one or two decisive identity cues.
• Use one subject, one direction, one space relation, two to three colors, one short English title, and one to three microtext groups.
• Return every poster as a separate image. Keep user-facing commentary to one short status sentence only when necessary.

Preserve the photographic upper half

Keep the source recognizably photographic. Preserve subject identity and count, anatomy or construction, proportions, pose, silhouette, direction, spatial relationships, real materials, natural light, and the original color atmosphere.

Apply only restrained art-magazine or exhibition-photography color correction. Do not redraw, vectorize, beautify, materially relight, or apply halftone, typography, gradients, or graphic overlays to this region.

Crop deliberately for the upper half. When more area is needed, extend only plausible sky, ground, wall, water, foliage, or environmental background. Never stretch, warp, mirror, duplicate, or redesign the subject.

Identify the single anchor and relation

Before prompting, privately identify:

1. the one hero subject or inseparable relationship carrying recognition;
2. its decisive silhouette, posture, direction, scale, and minimum identity cues;
3. the source's main spatial fact: horizon, height, isolation, approach, recession, fading, suspension, boundary, shadow, or distance;
4. the one line, band, edge, halftone layer, or support mark needed to make that relation visible;
5. the lower anchor's ideal small scale and off-center placement;
6. the source's overall temperature, value mood, and one deep but calm principal hue;
7. one lighter same-family fog hue;
8. one concise English title and one to three groups of supported micro-information.

Do not expose this analysis or repeat the user's design brief.

Choose exactly one composition structure

Select only the structure most natural to the source:

• horizontal extension: a horizon, road, waterline, ledge, group relation, rest, or lateral travel;
• vertical extension: ascent, falling, architecture, tree, standing figure, depth of sky, or gravitational distance;
• isolated suspension: a lone subject or compact relationship floating in a large field with minimal support;
• outward dissolution: a form, shadow, weather, crowd, reflection, or memory losing density toward one direction;
• shallow-to-deep recession: a foreground cue leading through halftone layers toward a small distant anchor.

Do not combine several structures. For example, do not use a radial burst, vertical rain, deep perspective, and floating isolation in one poster.

State how the chosen structure preserves the source relation. Use one horizon, boundary, shadow, or halftone band only when necessary.

Keep the anchor small and unmistakable

Reduce the lower hero to a clean shape with minimal internal information. Preserve its distinctive outer contour, posture, direction, and one local feature or relational gap.

Let it occupy a small fraction of the lower paper, often about 3–15% by visual weight. It may sit at a horizon, near an edge, inside a band, at the end of a visual axis, or within a receding field.

Use one deep ink shape, line, or compact halftone mass. Add only the minimum ground, shadow, companion, object, or environment cue required for identity and story.

Avoid large central portraits, detailed drawings, repeated subjects, decorative icons, complete scenery, literal photo tracing, or an anchor so tiny that it becomes a meaningless dot.

Make distance with halftone density

Render all mist, distance, shadow, dissolution, and transition through physical halftone dots. Change:

• dot size;
• dot spacing;
• dot coverage;
• ink overlap;
• screen angle or local registration;
• continuity of the dot field.

Move from dense to sparse until paper takes over. Use an abrupt or gradual density change according to the selected structure, but never use a digital opacity gradient.

Keep the halftone field geometrically controlled: a band, plane, arc, wedge, receding layer, or edge-grown field. It should clarify depth or distance rather than decorate empty space.

Avoid digital blur, soft airbrush, gradient fill, glow, fog simulation, motion blur, photographic halftone conversion, full-page dot texture, and uniform dot size everywhere.

Compose blank space as the majority

Use paper, ticket-like margins, a horizon interval, large open field, or a carefully shaped void as the main visual area. Make blank space express isolation, breadth, silence, pause, duration, or untraveled distance.

Place the anchor asymmetrically according to the chosen direction. Establish one center of gravity and one reading path from blank paper to structure to anchor—or from anchor into distance.

Avoid centered explosion templates, equal margins without purpose, multiple focal points, many bands, decorative borders, evenly distributed type, and a lower half filled with dots or ink.

Present the result as a flat art print. Do not add a frame, wall, desk, book mockup, gallery room, product card, or commercial campaign context.

Build the 2–3 color special-ink system

Derive the palette from the upper photograph's combined temperature, lightness, and emotion rather than copying many local colors.

Use:

1. off-white, warm gray, ivory, or natural paper as the dominant ground;
2. one calm but weighty principal ink derived from the source;
3. optionally one lighter, grayer same-family fog ink.

Allow one extremely small additional accent only when a source event has clear narrative importance, and count it within the three-color limit.

Create depth through area ratio, value, overprint, and dot density. Avoid dirty artificial aging, fixed blue-gray palettes, multicolor printing, rainbow accents, digital gradients, neon, metallic ink, and unrelated high-chroma spots.

Preserve real print character

Use paper grain, screen ink, Risograph texture, slight registration drift, uneven ink coverage, dry edges, and local paper show-through. Let age come from real print behavior, not a brown filter.

Keep the anchor contour, horizon, and key type legible. Apply texture selectively to ink, not uniformly to blank paper.

Avoid cheap vintage overlays, yellow stains, torn edges, scratches everywhere, photographic realism, glossy surfaces, 3D volume, heavy drop shadows, and smooth digital vector perfection.

Build dynamic English typography

Derive one extremely short English title from the source's theme, emotion, time, action, material, distance, or metaphor. Add one to three tiny groups: a phrase, state word, supported place/object info, number, year, chapter, coordinate-like value, archival marker, or restrained literary sentence.

Use a year, location, coordinate, date, or archive detail only when the user or reliable source metadata provides it. Do not fabricate factual-looking information. Non-factual numbers must read clearly as compositional notation.

Make type participate in the selected structure. It may follow a horizon, hug the anchor contour, become a vertical axis, cross a halftone edge, hide in a void, or be interrupted/aligned by the subject.

Use one very short title plus one to three microtext groups, with extreme size contrast, broad tracking, fine weight, small caps, superscripts, or narrow type. Keep all text in the principal/fog ink family with the same slight registration behavior as the graphic.

Avoid large headlines, advertising copy, dense paragraphs, UI data panels, decorative type scatter, unsupported facts, logos, brands, signatures, pseudo-language, or watermarks.

Compile the image-edit prompt

Write one source-specific production prompt per input photo containing:

1. one independent 3:4 portrait output and the exact 50% photography / 50% minimal-halftone split;
2. the upper-half preservation invariants, restrained color correction, crop, and any safe background extension;
3. the tiny lower anchor, relationship, silhouette, posture, direction, identity cues, scale, and exact placement;
4. the chosen horizontal extension, vertical extension, isolated suspension, outward dissolution, or shallow-to-deep recession and the source evidence supporting it;
5. the single horizon/boundary/shadow/halftone structure, dot size/spacing/coverage/angle/continuity changes, and dense-to-paper transition;
6. the blank-space majority, center of gravity, reading direction, scale contrast, and emotional role of distance;
7. the exact paper, principal ink, optional fog ink/accent, area assignments, values, overprint, and three-color maximum;
8. the paper grain, screen/Risograph ink, uneven coverage, registration drift, dry edge, and protected critical contours;
9. the exact English title and one-to-three microtext groups, factual support for any date/year/place/coordinate, and their horizon/contour/axis/halftone/void relation;
10. hard exclusions: no multi-photo layout, no altered or redrawn upper subject, no approximate split, no more than one composition structure, no detailed large hero, no multiple focal points, no digital blur, no opacity gradient, no full-page halftone, no more than three colors, no cheap vintage filter, no large title, no commercial ad copy, no false date/year/coordinates/data, no logo, and no watermark.

Use concrete anchor scale, spatial structure, dot density, blank-space role, ink, and type relation rather than relying on adjectives such as “premium,” “poetic,” “quiet,” or “intelligent.”

Inspect and correct

Review every result at full size and thumbnail size. Verify the exact split, truthful upper photography, one small recognizable anchor, exactly one composition structure, meaningful majority blank space, physical halftone transition, 2–3 source-derived inks, restrained print texture, and dynamically integrated English type.

If several structures compete, remove all but the strongest source relation. If distance looks blurred, replace it with controlled dot-size and spacing changes. If the anchor is too large, reduce it and recover paper; if unrecognizable, restore one contour and one cue. If type floats independently, bind it to the horizon, axis, contour, halftone edge, or void. If any factual data is unsupported, remove it. Regenerate with one targeted correction when needed.
