Naive Fashion Storybook Poster

Use the system imagegen skill and image-generation tool. Treat every uploaded photograph as the edit source. Preserve identity and relation while allowing one intelligent exaggeration or visual metaphor to give the lower illustration a distinct point of view.

Output contract

• Produce one independent raster poster for every uploaded photo. Never combine photos into a collage, contact sheet, comparison layout, diptych, or shared canvas.
• Use a 3:4 portrait canvas with one exact horizontal 50/50 division. Keep truthful photography in the upper half and the naive fashion-storybook illustration in the lower half. Do not let either medium invade the other.
• Preserve immediate correspondence through subject identity, emotion, posture, direction, relationship, color memory, and a few symbolic features.
• Use a high-key limited palette, large off-white or pale blank space, mixed handmade media, and optional sparse English type.
• If the user asks for no text, omit all lower text rather than inventing a title.
• Return every poster as a separate image. Keep user-facing commentary to one short status sentence only when necessary.

Preserve the photographic upper half

Keep the source recognizably photographic. Preserve subject identity and count, anatomy or construction, proportions, emotion, pose, silhouette, direction, spatial relationships, real materials, natural light, and the original color atmosphere.

Apply only restrained fashion-magazine, art-publication, or exhibition-photography color correction. Do not redraw, vectorize, beautify, materially relight, or apply illustration texture, typography, or graphic overlays to this region.

Crop deliberately for the upper half. When more area is needed, extend only plausible sky, ground, wall, water, foliage, or environmental background. Never stretch, warp, mirror, duplicate, or redesign the subject.

Find the editorial point of view

Before prompting, privately identify:

1. the one hero subject or inseparable relationship carrying recognition;
2. the decisive posture, emotion, direction, proportion, interaction, and three to six identity cues;
3. the source's small story, social gesture, fashion attitude, humor, tenderness, awkwardness, romance, or confidence;
4. one feature that may be moderately enlarged, simplified, tilted, repeated, or symbolically transformed;
5. one visual metaphor supported by the source relation—not a generic decorative idea;
6. the minimum environment shapes needed for place, scale, or action;
7. the source's most lively high-key colors and one possible complement jump;
8. optional English keywords, title, number, or short line.

The metaphor may turn an umbrella into a sheltering plane, a long shadow into distance, a plant lean into a dance, a vehicle path into a ribbon, a garment into architecture, or another source-specific transformation. It must clarify the source story rather than replace it.

Do not expose this analysis or repeat the user's design brief.

Simplify with confident awkwardness

Rebuild the hero with broad, clear forms and a few hand-drawn contour fragments. Preserve the core silhouette and relation while allowing moderate exaggeration of the most memorable local feature.

Use rounded or geometric masses, slightly off proportions, hesitant contours, asymmetric balance, and small construction errors. Keep the result recognizable and fashion-aware rather than childish.

For people, preserve pose, expression, clothing attitude, and relationship. For animals, preserve species, gesture, and energy. For objects, architecture, vehicles, and nature, preserve function, structure, direction, and identity rather than forcing faces or characters onto them.

Avoid generic cute heads, chibi anatomy, mascot faces, sticker borders, smooth vector symmetry, repeated decorative shapes, and exaggeration that changes identity.

Combine modernist order with storybook looseness

Use one clear visual center, a few broad color fields, large blank areas, and one or two simple geometric supports. Organize them with modernist scale contrast, diagonal or axial rhythm, asymmetry, crop, and overlap.

Let the hero be centered, offset, cropped, or extended according to source direction. Use loose pale wash, one diagonal line, a simple platform, arc, stripe, or block only when it supports the story and composition.

Keep the page light and sparse. Avoid complex scenery, full realistic backgrounds, many equal objects, dense Bauhaus decoration, multiple focal points, patterned borders, and template poster grids.

Present the result as a flat illustration page. Do not add a wall, frame, book mockup, desk, hands, fashion-layout presentation, gallery room, or product card.

Build the high-key limited palette

Extract colors from the upper photograph. Raise lightness, keep saturation low to medium, and organize the palette through neighboring hues. Use one small complementary jump for the narrative focus when needed.

Use roughly three to six active color families including line and background. Let off-white or a pale source hue dominate. Concentrate color on the hero and one support area.

Keep color gentle, bright, lightly vintage, and spirited. Allow a little muted or imperfect mixing where physical media overlap, but avoid overall dirtiness.

Avoid fixed fashion palettes, rainbow color, neon, candy overload, muddy brown wash, full grayness, dark backgrounds, smooth gradients, and equal-area multicolor distribution.

Mix handmade media with clear jobs

Assign each medium a role:

• watercolor for light atmosphere, translucent support, or receding space;
• gouache or acrylic-like flat fill for decisive hero masses;
• colored pencil for local structure, seams, features, and material cues;
• powder pastel or wax pastel for soft emphasis, rough edge, or tactile accent;
• dry brush for movement, shadow suggestion, hair, foliage, ground, or distressed transition;
• thin ink or pencil line for only the necessary contour and gesture.

Show paper grain, transparent gaps, broken strokes, rough edges, minor dirty mixing, and restrained old-print registration drift. Keep the media unified by the same palette.

Avoid using every medium equally, watercolor flooding, thick oil impasto, photorealistic pencil rendering, crayon-heavy children's drawing, smooth digital brushes, 3D shading, glossy fills, and texture sampled uniformly across the page.

Integrate optional English type

When text helps, derive a few English keywords, a short title, a number, or a restrained line from the source's person, place, scene, subject, emotion, or story.

Use a hand-drawn display word with slight naivety and vintage irregularity. Use a calm sans serif or serif for tiny secondary text. Allow slight tilt, stretch, offset, overprint, or registration drift.

Make type grow from the illustration: align it to a gesture, color block, contour, horizon, geometric support, or blank region. Keep it small enough that it remains part of the page rather than becoming advertising.

Do not invent locations, dates, issue numbers, slogans, quotations, or facts. Avoid large commercial headlines, many font styles, dense copy, logos, brands, signatures, pseudo-language, or watermarks.

Compile the image-edit prompt

Write one source-specific production prompt per input photo containing:

1. one independent 3:4 portrait output and the exact 50% photography / 50% naive-storybook split;
2. the upper-half preservation invariants, restrained fashion/editorial color correction, crop, and any safe background extension;
3. the lower hero, emotion, posture, direction, relationship, three to six identity cues, and small story;
4. the exact feature exaggeration, symbolic transformation, or visual metaphor and how it remains source-backed;
5. the broad forms, contour fragments, imperfect proportions, center of gravity, asymmetry, crop, overlap, geometric supports, and blank-space shape;
6. the exact high-key neighboring palette, off-white/pale ground, hero colors, and small complement jump;
7. the exact watercolor/gouache/pencil/pastel/dry-brush/line roles, paper grain, broken marks, rough edges, transparent gaps, slight dirty overlap, and registration drift;
8. the optional exact English title/keywords/number/line, factual support, font character, tilt/stretch/offset/overprint, and gesture/block/contour/horizon/blank placement;
9. hard exclusions: no multi-photo layout, no altered or redrawn upper subject, no approximate split, no literal lower tracing, no generic cute mascot, no smooth vector, no complex realistic scene, no dense modernist decoration, no dark/muddy palette, no glossy digital illustration, no 3D, no large ad title, no false facts, no logo, and no watermark.

Use concrete source story, exaggeration, form, media job, color, and type relation rather than relying on adjectives such as “premium,” “fashionable,” “cute,” “retro,” or “witty.”

Inspect and correct

Review every result at full size and thumbnail size. Verify the exact split, truthful upper photography, recognizable lower identity and emotion, one source-backed exaggeration/metaphor, sparse modernist composition, high-key limited palette, purposeful mixed media, large blank space, and optional integrated English type.

If it looks like a generic children's cartoon, restore source posture, fashion attitude, material, and relational detail. If it becomes too polished, increase restrained hand irregularity and broken marks. If mixed media feel chaotic, assign each a single job and reduce the palette. If metaphor obscures identity, scale it back. If text competes, shrink or remove it. Regenerate with one targeted correction when needed.
