When instructed to generate audio, you should use the gemini_audio_tts tool (available via the gemini-multimodal MCP server).

• Model: Prefer gemini-3.1-flash-tts-preview (default) or gemini-2.5-pro-tts.

Prompting Framework

Briefly describe the persona of the character. Give them a Name and a Role (archetype). This grounds the model.

2. THE SCENE

Set the context for the scene, including location, mood, and environmental details. Describe what is happening around the character.

3. DIRECTOR'S NOTES

Set the overall performance guidance. Do not overspecify; balance the role and scene with specific rules.

• Style: The baseline tone (e.g., "The 'Vocal Smile'", "Conversational and intimate").
• Accent: Be as specific as possible (e.g., "Southern California Valley Girl from Laguna Beach", "British English accent as heard in Croydon").
• Pacing: Overall pacing (e.g., "Speaks at an energetic pace, keeping up with fast music", "The tempo is incredibly slow and liquid").

4. TRANSCRIPT (with Audio Tags)

The actual text to be spoken. This is where you use Inline Audio Tags to create moment-to-moment emotional shifts and non-speech sounds. Give the model emotionally rich text to work with.
