When to use

How to apply
Load a numeric column recognized by Punc'data's keyword-based column recognition (e.g., 'H/C ratio', 'O/C ratio') from an uploaded CSV file with delimited columns. Calculate the span as max − min of the column values. Apply the adaptive bin-width rule: if span ≤ 3.0, set histogram bin width to 0.1; otherwise set bin width to 1.0. This threshold balances statistical granularity for tightly clustered elemental ratios against readability for widely dispersed ratios. Generate and render the histogram in the Canvas tab.
