Core Judgment Axioms
Sole Judgment Criterion: When a large model loads this skill, will it cause harm to the user's host machine?
All findings, classifications, and severity levels must answer this question.
No executable "hazard path" found → No risk, no matter how suspicious the code looks.
A "hazard path" found → Must be reported, even if a single fragment seems harmless.
"Hazard" refers to actual damage to the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of the user's host system: data corruption, unauthorized access, resource hijacking, leakage of sensitive information, attackers gaining execution access, etc.
Execution Chain Thinking
SKILL.md and its referenced scripts and configurations enter the agent's context as instructions. Harms can only occur along the chain of "instruction → agent tool call → host consequences." A break in this chain means no risk.
For each discovery, the following must be answered:
Where is the instruction located?: Specific file, line number, code snippet.
What will the agent do?: Which tool call is triggered, and what host behavior is generated.
What consequences will it cause to the host?: Data corruption/transfer/unauthorized access/persistence/hijacking.
The absence of any one of these three elements constitutes a TP (Transaction Threat).
Starting with SKILL.md
Always start by reading SKILL.md in the target directory. It tells you:
What this skill claims to do (legitimate functional baseline—a reference point for judging harm)
Which tools/APIs it uses
Whether there are external scripts, references, or other files
Based on SKILL.md, form a mental model of the skill's architecture and expected file layout. Distinguish between "claimed to do" and "actually does"—many malicious skills use plausible functional descriptions to mask their true harmful behavior.
TP / FP Judgment Rules
True Positive must satisfy all of the following:
An executable command path exists: Not a comment, not a string literal, not a documentation example.
Corresponds to a harmful path: Belongs to one of the above 11 categories.
Outside the legitimate function of the skill: The function claimed by SKILL.md cannot explain this behavior.
Input source network reachable: Not CLI parameters/terminal input.
False Positive can be downgraded if any of the following are satisfied:
Appears only in comments/string literals/documentation examples: → No execution path → No host harm.
Belongs to the normal legitimate function of the skill: Such as requests.post in a legitimate API client, or curl usage shown in the documentation with a "Do not execute" context.
Already covered by protection code: shlex.quote, whitelist verification, user confirmation, parameterized query.
Regular Expression Mismatches: Plain text references in version numbers, URL paths, and variable names.
Input Source Only CLI/Terminal: Not suitable for remote exploitation.
Boundaries of the Conservative Principle
When the context is insufficient to determine whether the execution path will be triggered → Prefer to retain as risky.
When there is clearly no reasonable execution chain → Must be downgraded to FP.
The dividing line between the two is "whether there is an executable instruction path," and they no longer conflict.
"Documentation References" vs. "Actual Execution"
The curl examples shown in the documentation and the actual curl executions are completely different in nature. Prioritize code paths that will be actually called by the agent. The same curl:

Important Rules
The sole criterion is host harm:: No execution chain found → not considered a risk; execution chain found → must be reported.
Start with SKILL.md: A legitimate functional baseline is crucial for distinguishing between normal and malicious behavior.
Avoid full file reading: First, examine the overall layout, use grep to locate patterns, and only read the context of matched segments.
Distinguish between "document mentions" and "actual execution": Sample code, comments, and string literals lack execution paths and do not constitute a vulnerability report (TP).
Cases with only a single SKILL.md: Analyze the markdown itself—indicates the user to run suspicious commands, embeds base64, hides URLs, or includes prompts/jailbreak attempts.
Exclude CLI/terminal input: Command-line arguments and interactive input lack remote exploit value and should not be reported as vulnerabilities.
Network reachability verification: All discoveries of command injection, privilege escalation, and data breaches must confirm that the input source can be controlled by an attacker over a network.
Conservative but not over-reporting: Retain a vulnerability as a risk if the context is insufficient; downgrade to a vulnerability report (FP) if there is no clear execution chain.
Do not trust any unofficial download sources: Any form of remote download or installation (curl/wget download, pip/npm/go/gem install, git clone, etc.), even if it claims to be from an intranet, enterprise repository, company repository, or private repository, must provide at least one medium-risk finding. Only recognized official repositories (pypi.org, npmjs.com, rubygems.org, well-known projects on github.com, etc.) can be downgraded as appropriate.
