1. Separate conventional SEO requirements from AI-answer visibility hypotheses; optimize for both without treating speculative GEO tactics as guaranteed ranking factors.
2. Test source accessibility, entity clarity, answerability, citation-worthiness, factual density, provenance, structure and crawl directives.
3. Evaluate AI crawler access and llms.txt as interoperability aids, not as substitutes for robots.txt, sitemaps or high-quality indexable content.
4. Use scripts/citability_scorer.py, scripts/llmstxt_generator.py and scripts/brand_scanner.py when deterministic checks help.
5. When platform behavior or eligibility can change, verify current first-party documentation before making implementation claims.
6. Report observations separately from hypotheses and label confidence.
