Test-Driven Development Workflow

This skill ensures all code development follows TDD principles with comprehensive test coverage.

Requirements summary

• Minimum coverage: 80% (unit + integration + E2E).
• Test types required: Unit (functions, utilities, components), Integration (API, DB, services), E2E (Playwright, critical flows).
• TDD cycle: Write test first (RED) → run (fail) → implement (GREEN) → run (pass) → refactor → verify coverage.
• Troubleshooting: Use tdd-guide agent; check test isolation; verify mocks; fix implementation, not tests (unless tests are wrong).

Core Principles

1. Tests BEFORE Code

ALWAYS write tests first, then implement code to make tests pass.

2. Coverage Requirements

• Minimum 80% coverage (unit + integration + E2E)
• All edge cases covered
• Error scenarios tested
• Boundary conditions verified

Step 2: Generate Test Cases

For each user journey, create comprehensive test cases:
