Action Tracker
Core Workflow
- Identify the source: meeting notes, executive brief, decision memo, risk register, operating review, or stakeholder update.
- Extract explicit actions, implied follow-ups, decisions, blockers, and open questions.
- Assign owner, due date, status, priority, dependency, and expected evidence for completion.
- Separate decisions, actions, risks, and discussion notes.
- Highlight overdue, blocked, ownerless, and high-impact actions.
- Produce a concise follow-up list suitable for leadership cadence.
Safety Rules
- Do not assign owners, deadlines, or commitments as final unless supplied or approved.
- Do not hide unresolved decisions inside generic action items.
- Escalate ownerless actions tied to finance, customer commitments, legal, security, production, hiring, board, or investor work.
Deliverable Shape
For action tracking, provide:
- Action owner list
- Decisions captured
- Open questions
- Blockers and dependencies
- Overdue or ownerless items
- Next follow-up cadence
- Suggested leadership agenda carryovers
