Skill Root Resolution

This skill runs in two environments. Resolve the skill root once at the start of every invocation by running this in bash:

Parameters

Parse the args string passed to this skill before doing anything else by running:

Consume the JSON result. It will contain mode, preference_doc, output_path, chat_only, and warnings. Surface any warnings to the user before proceeding. If the script exits with code 2 (invalid mode), stop and ask the user to correct it.

mode concise|detailed

Output mode. Default: concise.

• concise: Return the refined prompt inline in the conversation as Markdown text. No file is written.
• detailed: Synthesize a full task spec. By default, return the Markdown body inline in the conversation. Only write a file to disk when the user explicitly opts in (see chat_only below).

preference_doc <path> (both modes)

Path to a user preference document (Markdown). May contain: preferred directory layout (src/, docs/, data/), general constraints (e.g. "ask before deciding"), coding conventions. Read this file (using whichever file-reading tool is available in the current environment — Read in Claude Code, view in Claude Desktop) and merge its contents into the synthesized prompt.

• In detailed mode: preferences are merged into the relevant H2 sections (§约束条件, §要求, etc.).
• In concise mode: preferences are used as contextual constraints during gap analysis and synthesis — the refined prompt will naturally reflect the user's conventions without a separate merge step.

output_path <dir> (detailed mode only, only used when a file is being written)

Directory to write the output file. Resolution rules:

1. If the user passed an explicit output_path, use it.
2. Else, if /mnt/user-data/outputs exists (Claude Desktop), default to /mnt/user-data/outputs.
3. Else, default to the current working directory (Claude Code).

chat_only true|false (both modes, default true)

Default behavior in both Claude Desktop and Claude Code is chat_only=true — meaning the Markdown is returned inline in the conversation and no file is written.

• For mode=concise: chat_only is effectively always true; concise mode never writes files regardless of this flag.
• For mode=detailed: a file is only written when the user explicitly sets chat_only=false (e.g. by saying chat_only=false, "写文件", "落盘", "保存到本地", "save to file", etc.). Otherwise the body is returned inline.

Both natural-language and key=value forms are accepted and can be mixed. Examples:

When in Claude Desktop and a file IS written, present it to the user via the appropriate file-presentation tool (present_files) so they can download it.

Internal Reasoning Language

Translate the user's input to English internally before thinking. Reason and identify gaps in English. When responding to the user — asking questions, presenting the refined prompt — translate back to the user's language. Default to Chinese if the input is mixed.

Behavioral Rules

These apply in both modes, at every step.

1. Think hard at every reasoning step. Gap detection, question formulation, and prompt synthesis are all reasoning tasks that benefit from extended effort.

2. Internal English, external user language. (See above.)

3. Do not acquiesce. If you see a better structure, framing, or approach than what the user proposed, say so. Push back with a clear alternative and a reason. Do not simply validate the user's existing framing.

4. No pre-computed values in the generated prompt. The synthesized prompt must hand the downstream agent raw inputs and a list of TODOs — never derived values computed in advance.

   Example: if the task involves an image of pixel size 1024×1024 representing a physical region of 380 μm × 380 μm, the prompt must state both numbers and instruct the downstream agent to compute the per-pixel physical length itself. Do not write 0.371 μm/pixel into the prompt.

5. Output quality bar. The generated prompt must be: concise, unambiguous, free of redundant constraints, complete, and paste-ready for another Claude Code agent with no further clarification required.

Workflow — Concise Mode

Step 0: Parse parameters

Resolve <SKILL_ROOT>. Run parse_args.py. Confirm mode=concise. If output_path was passed, surface the warning and ask whether the user meant mode=detailed.

Step 1: Understand the draft and load preferences

Read the user's raw prompt. Translate it to English internally. Think hard about what they actually want done, the true goal, and what a successful downstream execution would look like.

If preference_doc was provided, read the file now. Keep the user's conventions (directory layout, coding standards, general constraints) in working memory — they will inform gap analysis and synthesis.

Step 2: Identify gaps (Think hard)

Enumerate every gap: contradictions, ambiguous wording, missing inputs, missing outputs, missing constraints, unstated success criteria. If a preference document was loaded, also check whether the draft conflicts with or overlooks any stated preferences. Translate your analysis back before proceeding.

Step 3: Ask clarifying questions

Ask targeted clarifying questions in the user's language. Group related questions by topic. Ask only questions whose answers materially change the prompt — do not ask about cosmetic details. Deliver all critical questions in one batch.

After the user replies: if new critical gaps emerge, ask at most one follow-up batch. After that, proceed regardless. A critical gap is one whose absence would force the downstream agent to make a load-bearing guess.

Step 4: Synthesize and return inline

Think hard. Merge the raw prompt with the user's answers. If a preference document was loaded, ensure the synthesized prompt naturally reflects those conventions and constraints — weave them into the appropriate parts of the output rather than appending them as a separate block. Apply all five behavioral rules. Return the structured prompt inline as Markdown. Do not write any file.

Workflow — Detailed Mode

Step 0: Parse parameters

Resolve <SKILL_ROOT>. Run parse_args.py. Note preference_doc and chat_only for later steps. If chat_only=false, also resolve output_path per the rules in §Parameters.

Step 1: Read reference and understand draft

Read the reference sample to anchor expected format:

Then read the user's raw prompt. Translate it to English internally. Think hard about the true goal, required inputs, expected outputs, and potential failure modes.

Step 2: Identify gaps (Think hard)

Enumerate gaps across all axes — contradictions, ambiguity, missing info — and also angles the user likely overlooked: edge cases, failure modes, units and conversions, output file destinations, error handling, acceptance criteria, module boundaries. Be more thorough than concise mode.

Step 3: Ask clarifying questions

Same rules as concise mode Step 3: one batch of critical questions, at most one follow-up batch, then proceed.

Step 4: Synthesize the full prompt (Think hard)

Merge the raw prompt with the user's answers. Build the complete task spec using H2 sections drawn from the canonical set as needed — not all sections are required, only those relevant to the task:

Apply all five behavioral rules. Derive a concise CamelCase task keyword from the subject matter (e.g. PLIMFitting, ImgSegPipeline, CFDPostProcess).

Step 5: Merge preference document (if provided)

If preference_doc was specified, read its contents (using Read in Claude Code or view in Claude Desktop). Merge:

• Directory conventions → relevant items in §约束条件 or §要求
• General behavioral constraints (e.g. "ask before deciding") → §约束条件
• Coding conventions → §要求

Do not append the preference document verbatim. Integrate its intent into the appropriate sections of the prompt.

Step 6: Output

The default in both Claude Desktop and Claude Code is chat_only=true.

If chat_only=true (default): Return the full synthesized body inline in the conversation as a fenced Markdown code block, so the user can copy it directly. Include the H1 (# <Keyword>_YYMMDD) and the YAML front matter inside the code block, so the displayed body matches what would have been written to disk. Do not write any file.

If chat_only=false (user explicitly opted in): Write the file by piping the H2-only body to write_prompt_file.py:

The script handles front matter, the _YYMMDD-suffixed H1, filename, and directory creation. Parse its JSON stdout to get the written path. In Claude Desktop, after writing, present the file with present_files so the user can download it. In Claude Code, just report the path.

• H1 is <Keyword>_YYMMDD. When written to disk, this is also the filename stem.
• H2 sections are chosen on an as-needed basis. Not all sections must appear.
• No other # (single-hash) headings may exist in the body.
